BARKBAY No Pull Dog Harness Front Clip Heavy Duty Reflective Easy Control Handle for Large Dog Walking(Pink,XL)

I needed a solution for our heeler puppy constantly pulling on the leash. I've tried several techniques such as " make your puppy stop, sit, walk back 10 steps and try again, provide extra special treats, etc. None of those worked. Other puppy parents suggested the gentle lead that wraps around the pup's nose to prevent pulling. I'm hesitant to use those - and because of that, I'm afraid I'll use it wrong and hurt her. So, after researching several different " no-pull harnesses " I chose the Barkbay. I love this one for a few reasons. #1 - has a grip handle on the back of the harness near the neck.....I already have a harness with the grip handle and although I've never had to use it, so thankful it's there. #2 There are two clips - one in the front and one on the back - I attach her leash to the front clip when we walk to curb the pulling. When she wants to run or pull, this harness and the way the leash attaches to it, it prevents her from fully extending her front leg - it doesn't hurt - just annoys her and she slows down, Yay ! Now, after a few minutes of " walking slow ", I'll switch the leash to the back clip - for me, this is where the grip handle is necessary. I grip the handle, switch the leash position and continue walking. If she starts pulling again, I'll switch the leash back to the front for a few minutes. We've only had this harness for two days, but I'm happy with the progress so far. This was a great choice for the both of us. Hope this helps. P.S. This is the 3d Barkbay I have purchased. The puppy grew out of her tiny puppy harness and has now graduated to her Barkbay. I bought 2 others for the other 2 dogs. Beyond happy. This harness cannot compare. Love the handle on the top. Color bright pink which is beyond cute on a black dog. Also cute on my brown dog, so I would say cute on any color dog. Couple of people at doggie day camp were asking me where I got this harness. Theirs were so complicated and downright ugly. LOL. Thank you BARKBAY for another great harness!

I loved the color, perfect for my girl. She's 52 lbs, but has a broad chest. It allowed me to get the fit just right! Makes it to much easier to walk her. Just rhe collar by itself was choking g her.The product quality is tough and very durable. I'd buy another color of this same product if I had another pet. Highly recommended!!!

We are obsessed with this harness. Absolutely love the design.I also love that it has to clips, one on the front and one on top to clip your leash and it has a handle as well. Easy to grab your fur baby. It’s great since it adjustable so he’s nice and snug but it’s not too tight

I'm not optimistic about the plastic buckles. I wish they were metal, as this is the best-fitting harness we've found so far for our 50 lb pup - and experience tells us the plastic ones will not last.

This is my second harness, I liked the first one so much that I bought another one after the first one broke. I had that one for two years and my dog is an aggressive puller when he goes on a walk, so the durability of a harness was very important to me. I also like that this has the front clip as well as the clip on top to make it a no pull harness.

I love this harness, but had to buy it twice, because I accidently left it out and my pup thought it was a toy. Chewed right through the strap in about 15 minutes!

My dog loves it. He is very strong and stopped pulling like he was on the leash. I love the bright blue colors as well. Looks awesome on a golden retriever! :) Super easy to put on. The dog is 76 pounds and it fits him just right.

If you have a big dogs apples because of this furnace, she was still full. It’s just less on the dogs necks if you have a harness rather than a collar

This is my third of these - different brand, but they all seem about the same. Minor changes to the last one I bought 3 years ago (which is looking a bit scruffy with daily use, but still in good shape).The plastic clasps are bigger but the metal leash attachment point at the back is somewhat smaller - only bugs me when I switch between leashes, it doesn't comfortably allow for two to be hooked in any more.The orange is more visible than the black, but not quite as visible as I had hoped - since the largest part of the harness is underneath.Love the fact it has clasps on both sides and we therefore don't have to fiddle with getting legs through the right gaps etc, as with other harnesses.Overall good value for money. Would recommend.

Did a lot of research before purchasing this. My beautiful boy is very important to us and we want him to be both safe and comfortable. We have used this harness several times now both on walks and travelling in the car as I wanted to wait before leaving a review.We have a large collie cross (German Shepherd mixed in there on dad's side!) and we bought the large size which fits him perfectly with some growing room if necessary. Harness is very padded and I can't feel any areas where it 'cuts' into him or makes it uncomfortable for him to sit or lay down when he's wearing it, both on floor and inside the back of the car.We use the front ring for walks as he is a puller and use the top ring when in the car. Both feel secure.Lots of walks recently in fields so it has got covered in mud but we give it a gentle hand wash with some of our dog shampoo and air dry it. No shrinkage or problems once washed.Got the orange colour, which is vibrant and cool but not in your face either!Very pleased and so is our boy!

I am really happy with this harness. My dog is about 9 months old and still prone to pulling more than I would like, so I have found the front attachments to work well to avoid this behavior. I more frequently use the top attachment most of the time, and love being able to alternate as needed. He wasn't super thrilled with having to slip it over his head to put it on. He is still a touch hesitant, but he is a game player for sure. The buckles are easy to snap in place and unclasp at the end of the walk.My dog is about 45lbs and the harness is holding up really well. He no longer chokes himself half to death and when he meets other dogs, he can play a bit without getting as tangled up. Having the choice of colors was nice as I was able to match close to the color of his fur. The reflective stitching really stands out at night too.The top has a handle which is great. If he comes home from the dog park a total mess, we can pop him in the shower and hold him in his harness until he is clean again. I have tried other harnesses, but so far this one stands out as the best for the quality and having two places to attach the leash. The attachments are solid metal and the stitching around them is heavily reinforced. Great quality over all.
