It is amazing to be able to purchase an Orenberg wool lace shawl here on Amazon. I wound up purchasing two different shawl designs available at the $39 price point.The shawls feel wonderful draped around my shoulders. They are indeed warm and light - like being wrapped in an airy cocoon of warmth. Also, the designs are nice and well-executed.Caveat: However, please be aware the shawls do shed quite heavily. If you are prone to allergies, you might be sensitive to this fiber and wind up sneezing if you have it on you for too long.It is very nice to see an example of wool lacework at such an inexpensive price point. However, due to the shedding and sneezing, I have to revise my earlier appraisal of this product as being 5 star to 3 star.

Absolutely beautiful orenburg shawl! Met my expectations and even more. Great quality and super warm.Very similar shawl was selling in Russia for almost twice more, so I am very pleased with my purchase.The package doesn't have any description other than name of the product, and there are no stickers so its impossible to tell where it was made and what materials were used.But I would totally buy it again!
