The quality of the star projections are fine, but I wouldn't suggest using this as a gift. Mine had a few of the words smeared, like "star," and some, like "november" and "decemeber," completely rubbed off. The month names are pointless and do nothing to the function of the projector, so if you don't mind that there is no problem. As I am giving this as a gift, I have to return it, because obviously I am not going to give my little sister a poor quality amazon projector with rubbed off words.

The projector feels very cheap. The projection is very blurry on my son's ceiling. Our ceilings are a little over 10' and the projector is placed on a nightstand that is 28" tall. I can see that if the projector were about 2 feet higher that the projection would be much better. The battery compartment door was broken when it arrived. I had to tape it to stay on.

It doesn’t turn on with the battery lid on so I have to leave it off. I thought it would be a lot brighter

Within 10 minutes of opening the box, the thin, poorly constructed plastic star projector night light had broken. The plastic it’s made of is so cheap and flimsy. Very disappointment. Would not recommend.

It did not meet my expectations. Stars are more like dots on the ceiling.

Just a little light. Looks cool on the ceiling of my sons room but I found the same thing at the dollar store weeks later for 3 bucks. Don’t waste your money
