I have bought others in the past without instructions which is annoying if you can’t get it. These instructions are step by step using pictures and a good guide. The wooden sets are harder to solve than the color ones as the pieces are only lighter or darker. The size of them are a few inches each in a box the size of a candy box. The smaller size doesn’t interfere with use at all. I have them at my desk, and have everyone asking about them and get frustrated they cant get it. They are tightly put together when they arrive which is the only thing I found bad about this, and will take some pressure getting them out. Overall I like the set for the price and would recommend anyone looking for a puzzle.

These puzzles look well made - better than most. But, because each is individually wrapped (which is nice for putting in a stocking but frustrating when you're trying to assess quality) it's hard to say for sure. I do think I recommend the puzzles. The problem is the box -it's sealed in such a way that it can't be opened without ripping it which means you can't check out the puzzles and still send them back if you change your mind. For me that's a big negative.

I bought these as a fun office gift for my boss and was rewarded with hours of fun watching him get more and more frustrated when he couldn't figure them out. The instructions were detailed, but challenging if you have trouble with spatial recognition. The puzzles are a little stiff at first, but that just makes it better to watch. It says children and up, but watching grown adults struggle with these puzzles was way more fun than watching a kid play with them. Deceptively simple and a diabolical gift for that perfectionist in your life. After hiding one piece and watching the subsequent meltdown, the giggles around the office were contagious.

I am a school counselor and my school kids love brain puzzles like this. I put each one in a baggie with its instructions. The kids play with them daily. Some of the puzzles were a bit hard to take apart to begin with but it was fun watching the kids try and do them once they were apart. These work fabulous as a focus activity and for fine motor skills. I personally enjoy doing these with my school kids. Some of them are a real challenge.

The pieces are solid enough and seem nicely made, but smaller than I had expected hoped - or maybe having received them I now realise I would have much preferred larger pieces. instructions are next to useless, one really has to surf YouTube to find any solutions. Certainly too hard for my 10 year old daughter to figure without guidance. In retrospect, I probably would not have bought these.

The puzzles , 9 or them, came individually wrapped so you don't have a mess of puzzle pieces in a box. The directions are great if you need them (and I did). They are good quality and all wood. Hint, keep the puzzles separate or it will drive you crazy trying to finish the puzzles. I gave my grand kids one at a time. Great gift for young and old.

I apologize firstly for not having pictures, I don’t have it anymore I threw it away before I had the thought to review it.Let me tell you, I sure hope you read this review before you buy these because i seriously wish I would have! So, the puzzles are about an inch wide, literally, maybe at that, they’re so small and because of that the individual parts of each puzzle are millimeters thick, or thin I should say, millimeters thin, and so because of that half of the puzzles when pulling them apart break, which leads me to my second problem, most of these puzzles are so tightly put together that when I say I couldn’t get them apart, I mean it’s physically impossible outside of using a hammer, which would completely demolish them in one small tap. I couldn’t get over half of them apart, the other half I could but broke some pieces on, only maybe one or 2 I actually managed to get apart without breaking and even those would get hairline fractures and while putting them back together I had to be so careful and nervous because I didn’t want to break another one! I like 3d puzzles, and I would love to get a set just like this, but let me tell you, I’d MUCH rather get a set of one or 2 of these only, for the same price, if they were actual full size wood thick hard pieces that wouldn’t break and slid apart easily etc. real quality, which these are not even close to. Please do not buy, for your own good. Get a set of 4 for the same price that has full size puzzles in them that aren’t made of cardboard. Thanks and good luck!

Purchased it as a birthday gift for my son. The puzzles are great - easy to disassemble, not so easy to assemble back :) Took us a while to get thru every puzzle. My only complain is that some details are too tight - difficult to take apart for my son.
