I purchased these bags to reduce the amount of plastic waste i was generating by sous vide cooking. I tried the bags for the first time this week. I was able to cook a corned beef for 36 hours at 165 with no issues. The bags sealed, no leaks. The bags sealed well, thought it was moderately difficult to completely seal, otherwise no problems. Bags were easily cleaned by turning inside out and washing with soap and water. The bags seem to be robust, but need more time to ensure expectation.

When I first received this item, I wrote "I had to fight with one of the bags to open the bottom expansion -- which resulted in a tear!! The bags will probably last a lifetime, but they're too unwieldy for my taste!" Unbidden, Inspiratek insisted on remedying this order and replaced the bags. The new bags are absolutely perfect, fulfilling all the 'promises' on their web page. I'm delighted with this purchase, and especially delighted to deal with a company that is determined to achieve 100% customer satisfaction. I also appreciate the fact that metal drinking straws and a brush cleaner were also sent as a bonus. This company is very green-minded as well as customer-oriented and it is appreciated. Five stars!!

I have yet to actually use the bags I purchased but when washing them I was able to test out their capabilities. The silicone bags seem to be very durable. Their zipper has a tight fit which keeps it leak proof, however, this also makes it not slip on/off very easily. It's not a problem in any sense, just something to consider when purchasing this particular item. Both types of bags survived the dishwasher. They may fold over themselves in the washer though so just make sure they are fully clean before using. I handwashed the straws and plastic zippers so I am not sure how they hold up in a washer. The reason why I only put 4 stars for "easy to clean" is because the way they are folded leaves a pool of water on the bag so I flipped them over and let them air dry both ways. However!!! The way they are folded provides a lot more space than I expected. Apparently this is a family run business, they sent me a lovely email thanking me for my purchase so I looked further at their products and decided I needed the other set of reusable bags that they have for sale. They also sell those beeswax bowl covers if interested.

I just want to say this product is amazing I’ve always used plastic sandwich bags and large ziplock bag. I always wanted to try reusable bag but always heaitant. I'm so glad I did I use these for snack, in the fridge to store cheese or lunchmeat and also I use it in the freezer worms great Prettg much for anYthibg. Easy to clean just wash it by hand and air dry it and its ready to be used again. Great for the environment definitely not going back to ziplock bags.

I prepare my dog's food every two weeks to store in these bags (he's on a raw diet). They are hard to use the first few times you use them. The sealer is very hard to get off and on especially on the large bags and the bottom area is hard to push out to full capacity. But after a few uses and washings the bottom just pops out and stands up on its own so that I can easily put the food in it. I still have some trouble getting the large bag sealer on all the way but in the end I can. I read some of the 1 star reviews and saw they were having trouble with holes. They must have gotten lemons because these bags are thick and strong! I bought 3 sets awhile ago and came back to buy one more set so that I can make more of his food at one time to freeze. I love them for storing his food so I gave them a 5 star. I don't love them for packing my lunches because they are somewhat bulky and take up more room than a normal baggie, but any reusable silicone bag will be like that.

Reusable and eco friendly food bags. Made of food grade silicone. It is a set of 4, 3 small and 1 large differently colored bags. (White/clear lg, bleu, green and red sm). Each has a hard plastic sealing strip to seal the bag. The bottom outside has a generous base to hold bag in place standing up. The bags hold liquid or solids.The small bags hold up to 4 cups/1000 ml/30 fl oz, the large holds up to 6 cups/1500 ml/50 fl oz. Each has a max line so you don't over fill your bags. They go from freezer to microwave fabulously. It is said they are dishwasher safe, but I don't have a dishwasher. I love these bags!!The first couple of times the slider is a little bit difficult to slide off and on, but gets easier with use.It comes with 2 bonus items as well, a set of 2 stainless steel straws with cleaning brush and 2 reusable produce bags.

These reusable bags are great. They’re sturdy and durable, I’ve used them in the kitchen to store all kinds of foods. The bags will stand up or they can be stacked. Also, the bags seal very well. I didn’t realize how much I would use them. They come in so handy. I was using a lot of plastic zip top baggies and then throwing them away, which was wasteful.This is a nice set of bags, they are easy to wash out and I’ve been using them over and over. The set comes with a large 6 cup bag and three more bags that hold 4 cups each. The company also includes two reusable mesh produce bags and two stainless steel drinking straws along with the set of reusable silicone bags, which is nice.The price is great, I’m planning to buy another set.

One of the four bags has a hole in the seam at the bottom. The packaging was intact, no sign of damage except that hole. This does not inspire me with confidence for the long term reuse potential of this item.Descriptions include quality guarantee just contact the seller within 30 days, but no indication how to contact the seller.
