I owned one of these for my previous Taurus 111 Millenium G2, and though I rarely used it I found it highly effective and comfortable.Now that I've upgraded to a full size Taurus 809, I needed a holster. And what do you know? The same company makes the same quality holster for larger-framed models! Cool beans, right?Cheaper than my other one, too! $15 shipped? Come on. The choice was obvious. Could've spent like $60+ on a fancy Blackhawk. I'd rather not right now.Comes with its own allen wrench for adjusting tension and locking the angle in. 360 degree rotation means you can carry at any angle you want, strong side or left side cross-draw. Full size models are heavier, bear in mind. This will sag a little on the side you wear it on. I advise a strong, thick leather or nylon belt be worn.It goes on easily and removes easily enough. I like it with a really thick belt because the teeth dig in underneath it for better retention, less wiggle room and swaying when I turn.Draw is smooth, positive and precise. No issues, there.This is NOT a concealment holster. It's open-carry. Don't trash a product because you aren't using it for the purpose it was made for.All in all I'd recommend this heartily. I think it's a great option, and it beats out a lot of competitors due to price alone. Check it out for yourself!

A Good retention holster for range use. It Works well with both my PT809 Full & Compact.Also for the TH9 new version. Definitely Not a Concealed Carry Holster. See picture.

A very nice snug fit on my taurus PT 24/7 pro .45acp Gen.1 nice lightweight but sturdy holster. Good curvature on the hip pad of the holster. I really like it, doesn't rub on my slide hard like some other paddle holsters. Great buy!

I'm a big fan of my Taurus PT809. However it hasnt been the easiest pistol to find accessories for. I did find similar retention holsters that were more universal fit, and would have worked okay, but they were twice the price!I saw this one offered by Tactical Scorpion, and was pleased to see it would fit the PT809 so i ordered one. It was about 25 bucks and free shipping, compared to 50 plus tax for a universal holster in a gun store.The fit and finish of this holster is every bit as good, and it actually fits, my gun properly. Awesome!!If you've got a PT809, 840, or 845, this is the holster you need! If you have a different gun but want to know if this brand is any good, rest assured it is quite adequate. It feels secure, both to my pants and to the gun. The holster completely covers the trigger and trigger guard, as pictured.Paddle holsters in general are a bit tough to conceal, so I probably would suggest a different setup if you are concealing. You will print majorly if you try to cover it. However if you dont care about printing, or if you open carry, this one is comfortable on the waist. You might consider the belt clip package, although I didnt get that package because of the extra shipping cost.I'll be using it when I go shooting or at classes and such.Also lastly, I've been seeing tons of reviews lately on Amazon where someone got a free item in exchange for a review. I think those reviews are likely biased and full of crap. I did NOT receive anything free at all, I bought it on my own, and this is a truly unbiased review.

Not for conceled carry, this thing sticks out considerably (the width of your firearm plus about an inch). The push button release is a bit awkward until you get used to it but could be an issue in an emergency scenario. Save your money and get an alien holster.

Fits my Taurus TH9 very well. And is priced well. I would recommend for sure.
