After washing and drying the knives a dark color comes off the blade. The knives are still very sharp.

Bought these for my mother and after using them had to have a set of my own. You will not be disappointed.

These knifes are really pretty, lightweight, and great quality. I purchased because they were made in USA. However they are NOT dishwasher safe. They are hand wash recommended. I don't remember seeing that anywhere when I ordered. I took a chance on the dishwasher and definitely changed the finish. Just beware.

My favorite thing about these knives is that there is no branding on them. I don't need to know and don't need my guests to know what brand my knives are. That's stupid. Anway, the knives are VERY sharp! Love that. But the brushed stainless steel handles scratch easily in the dishwasher, so wash gently them by hand. They're also small, which is fine for smaller hands, but tricky for those with larger hands. They're good knives, but next time I'll pay more for better ones.

I gave this as a gift as I have a set for over eight years and they are as sharp as the day as I purchased them. Great value for the money spent!

I must say that we are VERY happy and satisfied with these American made knifes!They are sharp. They are light weight yet sturdy.We have been looking for a good quality knifes and finally we found Rada Cutlery!I read the reviews and as yet I don't understand why some say there was rust, etc.We use them, clean the dry them right away...thus no problems. Sometimes one must change the way they wash their cutlery...change is good.

I love Rada cutlery. I have several different styles of these knives. I always keep them in my knife block or in the cardboard covers they come in. I have also bought a few of the hard plastic sleeves you slide them into. I love the classy look of these knives. There is one issue though,if you want to retain the smooth silvery look of the handles, hand wash them only, and dry right away. Never put them in the dishwasher as the soap destroys the handle finish. Also don't soak them in water.This also changes the finish on the handles. It only takes a couple of minutes to put a drop of dish washing liquid into the sink with hot water and give them a quick wipe with your dishcloth and a quick rinse. Then dry them immediately and store them. This takes just a few minutes and keeps them looking beautiful. If you want your knives, any knives to stay sharper do not let them be crashed around on other metal or things in your drawers, Put some kind of protection over the blades to keep them sharp. This also minimizes the risk of cutting your self on knife blades while searching for things in your drawers

Very nice, very sharp little knives. Good looking and light. Only negative I can see is what one other reviewer mentioned, they are quite small. They fit nicely in my tiny hands (seriously, they're like raccoon paws), but they may be uncomfortably small for someone with large hands.
