I love this puzzle. So does my daughter. She was able to put it together before she was 2, requiring little to no help - and she did, over and over and over again, picking it up and dumping it in between.I think this is a great 'next' puzzle after the individual piece ones that you might by for younger kids. The product states 3+ but it is great for younger with supervision of course, not that the pieces are small enough to choke on. I love that it is helping her color match and it has different emotions on each cat's faceThe pieces and backing are thicker and sturdy. It is very possible that the little ears etc won't hold up over time since they're smaller but so far so good.

Previously, my 19-month-old daughter only had the wooden puzzles with separate pieces (each piece in its own niche); this was her first "semi-real" puzzle with multiple parts. She's utterly obsessed with kitties, so I figured this would be fun for her even if she couldn't figure it out. Sure enough, she loves it!At first, she just loved the individual kitties (each with their own color and emotion), and played with them, but over the last month, she's completely mastered putting the puzzle together. The puzzle has the color of each kitty (but not the actual picture with faces etc) in each section, so it's easier for her to tell where the piece should go, so it makes a great beginner puzzle. She still loves it, and will request it by name ("kitty cat puzzle!") if I try to swap it out with another puzzle, so it's definitely earned a permanent place on our toy shelf.I was concerned that the "flatness" of the puzzle (the pieces are flush with the backboard) would be a problem, but she figured out how to dump the pieces out without any issues. Never underestimate the ability of a toddler to make a mess, I guess!

Nothing about this puzzle is chunky, but it is cute & simple. AND it is in actual rainbow order. Itcwas $6...no one can expect much for that. It's nice little "extra" rainbow kitty gift.

I love how the wooden cats are different colors, have different facial expressions, and fit together in the frame. The puzzle isn't quite as chunky as I'd expected, but it seems to be good quality for the price.

Fairly small and very thin. Not much of a chunky puzzle like I was led to believe. Cute though, just wish it was bigger and better quality. I'll be returning.

I love cute things and this is the cutest!!! It's also helping my son learn the colors! So happy I found this! Our first puzzle and it continues to be a success. We build it and do colors at lunch!

Great toy, simple and worth the price. My 2 yo loves it. It's one of those toys that a toddler REALLY likes. I don't know why, but this $5 toy interests her much more than a dozen of other $100+ toys. Sad but true.
