Keep my feet warm and dry
After trying half a dozen different types of socks, I finally found these that keep my feet warm and dry. I am required to wear boots at work. In regular cotton socks, my feet would sweat and then be uncomfortable in the summer and cold in the winter. I couldn't wear socks that were too thick because my toes would then hurt from being cramped. And I've tried more than one pair of wool socks that claimed to be warm, but were thinner than dress socks. These are a happy medium. Thick enough to keep my feet warm and still thin as a regular sock. If my feet do sweat, these socks must do a great job of wicking it away. Very happy with my purchase. I will be adding more to my wish list for Christmas.

Doesn’t last. Tearing at the seams.
I’ve bought a 6 pack of these socks a little over a month and my toes are busting through on almost every one of my socks. At first, I was very satisfied with the comfort of these socks, but they just don’t last. If the toes were reinforced, I would consider buying them again. I figured these socks would be a great alternative to my traditional OD Green military boot socks, but they are already falling apart. If you are in the military, just buy the traditional boot socks, although not a comfortable, they last for years.

Great sox, 6 pr. of quality wool footwear.
#1, I bought them because it's a 6-pack of pairs of sox: if one gets worn out or lost, I still have 11 sox.#2, they are quite comfortable, not itchy.#3, despite being wool, I have washed them (inside-out, as usual) with other clothes on the washer's Warm-Warm setting, and dried them in an electric dryer on the Normal setting, without seeing any perceptible shrinkage or damage.#4, the sox fit well (I'm a 12EE shoe, a Large in most sox) and are tight enough that they don't slide down to my ankles, they're stretchy and stay up almost to over-the-calf, very close to a 'compression stocking.'#5, unfortunately for me, I was recently diagnosed as a Type 2 diabetic and now need a loose(r) stocking, something not as compressive due to circulation problems common to diabetes.

not like real wool socks
There is very little wool in these socks, not like real wool socks, all wool. The uppers are very tight and I do not have heavy ankles.

Shrunk but still fit nicely after second washing
Worn once, they definitely do control/minimize odor. Washed once and they are pilling and getting fuzzy (I don't worry about this unless it creates early wear and tears). Shrunk but still fit nicely after second washing. A nice price point for 6 pairs of socks. the only thing I don't know is how long they will last. I will update in 1 month.

Thin, but fit and feel good.
These socks are thinner than I'm used to. I typically wear army padded socks. But the do fit and feel nice and stay put. I order greens socks with orange print from enerwear. I got green and orange socks from EW wool (maybe Enerwear?) However one sock of the 12 had white print and said Enerwear. It's the same sock just a different stripe and text so it looks and feels fine. Just strange. But for the price I won't whine too much. Still decent socks

Thin, comfy.
These are very comfortable, but they are NOT thick wool socks. I saw a review that said this, and it's what I was looking for, thin socks. Love them.

They extend past the top of my boot
I wear these with my military boots. Socks are so damn expensive and apparently I walk like a yeti because I'm always wearing them down. So far I really like these socks. They're comfortable and they go above my boot which I was my main concern.
