I really like this kettle. I've been using it for about six months now. It heats up fast and shuts off automatically. The double wall construction holds in the heat for long time. I like that the kettle separates from the base, so the cord doesn't get tangled up in things. The kettle is plenty big enough for several cups of tea or coffee. I think it is a great value for the money. I would definitely buy another one if this one gets stolen.

The best thing about it is - hot water fast without using a lot of electricity (or propane, in my case - if I were to use my stove). Special things about THIS kettle - the extra insulation, so it stays warmer longer. The PRICE was wonderful, and the lifetime warranty was a BIG plus. The spout doesn't drip. It's easy to keep clean. I liked the instructions for using "citric acid" or lemon juice and water to clean out the mineral deposits (scale) - the juice of one lemon worked great. It was double boxed so it arrived in good shape. It was bigger than I expected, and a little heavier than I expected - but it has turned out to be the perfect size for my daily needs, after all.

I love the fact that it is all stainless steel inside...no plastic parts at all (many kettles seem to claim all stainless interior but will have a viewing window or a filter....etc). I also like the fact that the spout allows for a more controlled pour...i have been able to do a lower flow rate due to the spout (also stainless!). This kettle is definitely a solid and well built kettle.....the power cord is substantial...it's got a thick wire like my stand mixer, i don't feel the cord get warm like i have on my other electric kettles in the past. I feel like it is a very safe appliance to have in my kitchen. It isn't counter art; but it isn't by any means ugly...it looks very nice on my counter.

This kettle is perfect for our household. My husband and I both drink tea and usually put our kettle on the stove on each morning for hot water, but not anymore. This electric kettle is great. It is not hot to the touch, it holds a large amount of water and the water boils quite quickly. I have also used it for my instant oatmeal in the morning and the occasional cup of flavored coffee. The kettle is easy to clean as well. This would be perfect for a student in a dorm room or even a studio apartment where you didn't have a lot of room and needed to have hot water quickly. I would definitely recommend this product.

The kettle looks great but after a few months, water starts leaking from the top and bottom. So much for a lifetime warranty :(Update: the top metal part under the lid fell off after one year of use. Green rust also appear on the outside. DO NOT BUY! This is my worst purchase.

Product is as described. Well built well and easy to use.Attractive too look at.Cool to the touch.BUT, You need to have patience for the water to heat up.It will boil and it will cut off as advertised.But it takes MUCH longer than the pots with the exposed heating coil type.Takes some Xtra time... so allow for it.

This kettle is super quick and easy. Place water in it, turn it on, and walk away. When it’s ready it will automatically shut off on its own- no need to sit around and babysit it.The lid stays up- so you are able to add water or clean it with out having to hold the button down. The outside of the kettle is warm to touch but definitely not hot enough to burn anyone.I hate “kitchen gadgets” because they are big and usually bulky to store- the base of this kettle is super slim and easy to store.The only downfall (if it is a downfall) is that the cord isn’t very long!But overall it’s a great product for the price!

This makes my wife's tea habit far easier to indulge. Fills easily, heats quickly, pours smoothly. I like that the inside is all stainless steel. The very smallest of complaints is that there's no audible alarm that the pot is ready. It's easy to forget completely about it (though that may just be me!) once you load it and start it. A nice discreet beep or two would close that very small gap.** EDIT 20180226 **I dropped my review from 4 to 2 stars. My wife discovered that after a couple of months of use her tea had "oily spots" floating in it after pouring water from this kettle. I looked and that's probably the only way to describe them. It looks like there are tiny (like pencil eraser size) little spots of oil floating on the surface of her tea after pouring water from this kettle over her tea bags.Since I am a good scientist we did some experiments. We tried boiling water separately on the stove, other cups, other types of tea, and the like. The only time we saw the spots were from water from this kettle.Inside there was some pretty significant discoloration around inside of the base (of the kettle) perhaps the heating element is burning it. There is also some rusting inside.She won't use the kettle now.So take that for what it's worth.
