it was so good for what I wanted it for
I would have given this CD player 4 stars, but after 6 weeks of use, it died! Turned on, started to spin, then stopped and just "crackled and "fizzed", and wouldn't restart! I might have given it only one or two stars as a result, but honestly, it was so good for what I wanted it for, that I will probably try another. I'm SO glad I paid a bit more for this one with the 12 month guarantee. If I'd bought one direct from China (also on Amazon) for £36, I'd have been stuffed! As it was, I went on live-chat to Amazon customer service, and got return/refund immediately.I bought it for listening to teaching CD's, for which it was perfect. (Less good for listening to music, with no tone control, and not enough volume) What I especially like is the remote control, it was instantaneous in effect. The only problem, (which would mean I'd never give it 5 stars), is the lack of counter. (There is one "latest", that has the counter, but it's a lot more expensive). Stopping and starting the teaching CD's with the remote was great. However, trying to go back to a certain point, was impossible, without a counter, as you have no indication how far back it jumps. Also good was the restart at same point, when you turn back on.

Multifunctional CD player with strong little speakers!
I bought this as a way to play our old CD's via Bose Soundtouch10 speakers. I wasn't sure it would work but using the AUX cable it did the job perfectly. To my surprise I even found out that connecting music on my phone/tablet via the bluetooth receiver on the CD player meant I could use the Bose speakers while the CD player was connected via the AUX cable. Two birds in one stone! Just what I needed.Even without using the Bose speakers, the sound of the integrated speakers on the player is quite strong and pretty good quality. My husband was surprised when it started playing so it might end up in the gym too...The AUX cable for headphones and speakers was a bit hard to find at first. I had to study the manual as it's not visibly obvious. It's tucked in front of the electrical cable just inside the casing. It looks rather smart on it's stand so am very pleased with it! Would definitely recommend.

My daughter loves it.
It's a sleek looking design, like an early Sony or Apple, and conveniently sits on the wall ('though a table stand is provided too). Sound is good enough. My one concern was the power cord on/off which I still worry is a weak point, but it seems robust enough. One downside is the controls for switching between modes are a bit confusing to operate - seem to be some lags in pressing and getting the mode you want - not helped by skimpy instructions.

Surprisngly good CD / Radio player
Needed a CD player that didn't take up too much room as we have limited space in our kitchen. Wall mounting seemed a good solution and as this unit can be wall mounted or free standing I decided to give it a try. I wasn't expecting the FM radio to actually work as we have marginal reception particularly when the microwave is working but to my surprise, it worked fine! Maybe this was because it was wall mounted at a higher level than our free standing radio. Sound quality is as good I would expect from a small unit like this - certainly good enough for casual listening when in the kitchen. Bluetooth connection worked fine with my phone & also having cable connection gives a choice of sound sources. Remote control is simple but works fine. Our CDs are now having a fresh lease of life!

Wouldn’t Connect through Bluetooth.
This seems to be a good little CD player, if you don’t mind the choice of only bright colours. (Grey or black would be good). I say seems to be, as I only had it up & running for a very short time before I found that it would not connect to my phone or iPad through Bluetooth. It made sounds as if it was doing something, but repeatedly it failed to connect.I think, even so, it merits 3 stars as I realise now if I had contacted amazon or the seller they might have sent replacement part(s), but at the time I didn’t think of this & requested a return/refund, which is now underway.

tinny sound
Only had it for 1 week as yet. The unit works well enough playing C-D`s, so does the remote. The sound quality is tinny, which lets it down. I will buy a separate speaker later . not too happy with the radio, but only need it for C-D playing. Works well fitted to the wall .

Looks cheap
I'm not so sure it is worth the money. It feels like very poor quality plastic, also I had a much better quality remote control pad with a £5.99 candle I bought. It looks and feels like something you would buy for a kids bedroom. The sound is ok but I'm sure I could had done better for my money. I bought the white one. The best part is one of the stands works fantastic with my tablet. Would buy for a kid, not for anyone else.

CD players are hard to find these days so was very pleased to fin this compact player
2and 5 year old are very pleased with this CD player to use with the 'book and CD' combos they have. They can operate it themselves and it must be fairly robust as they haven't broken it yet! The quality of the sound is good for voice recording.i have not tried it for music,
