Good water proof bbq cover
Couple of months ago I bought an American style BBQ not from amazon but from another website. The weather has been kind here had bbq almost on a daily basis. Weather is slightly started to play up again and it times keep the bbq safe from the wet weather and snow.I recently bought the bbq cover to protect the BBQ.Package Content:1x Water proof bbq coverWhen I opened the BBQ cover I was surprised to see it was a bit bigger than what I thought it would be.The bbq cover fits nice giving a bit extra space to keep the side tray left open. One side has a pull strings and the other side has clips allows you to keep the cover nice and tight form the bottom. I was pleased to buy this in time as it rained the next day. After the rain stopped I did check the bbq to see if water pass the cover, but it didn’t, so I am glad I bought one. Overall pleased with the bbq cover.

Don't bother!
Very disappointed, immediately on opening I thought this feels very cheap quality and couldn't imagine it working but I kept an open mind, and after the 1st time it rained I rushed out to see how well it performed and lifted it up and as expected my BBQ was absolutely soaked puddles of water in every crevice and water on every surface like I hadn't even had a cover on it, yes I was fuming, might be ok as a dust cover but no good at all for anything related to rain!! 😡

9 months in and its falling apart
Although I was initially happy with this item it is now falling apart. The top which has seen the most sun is just shredding/several large rips have appeared. I will be looking for a thicker, more durable one to replace it.

Not heavy duty, expect 18months before it deteriorates
Bought to replace the previous bbq cover. Expected this to be heavier duty, but it's exactly the same light weight material. The previous cover, lasted about 18 months out in all weather's. But this material becomes brittle, and tears like paper over time. Will see how long this one lasts, but I don't have high hopes.

Only lasted a year
Bit too thin so kept getting tares in it, and went green from the rain. Had it for a year now binned it and bought a more durable one

It rained and I can confirm it's waterproof
I bought this cover not for my BBQ but for the boxes of tools I store outside. It's quite big so it'll fit nicely a big BBQ.It has elastic at the bottom so it's easy to adjust and some fasterners.Material seemed a bit thin but after 2days of rain my boxes are still dry.

Didn't last 12 months
Bought this in June 2019 for use on our barbecue, mainly for storing over winter. Whilst it kept it dry over the period of not being used, it developed a few small tears and after removing and recovering less than 5 times this year, it is colour faded and has numerous small tears as well as one long one across the top, rendering it useless. Now I know why it is the price it is.

The water prof.
This product, was a little bit to big for barberries, of that size. So far water proof seems to be working quite well, also draw string could be made to tighten in a different way as to much material blowing around.
