Although I think I could have just cleaned the existing ones and re-used the existing ones, I went ahead and replaced them with these from Amazon. These were super easy to install, found a video online utube, and it was very easy to follow. Doesn't take but 15 minutes if you are prepared and have the basic tools required. Just be careful if your vehicle is older like mine (2010) as the plastic clips are brittle. You need to carefully raise up the grey locking bar, then push down from the top while pressing in the black tab, then lift and gently wiggle to release the connector. Mine was already split as it must have been replaced at some previous time, so I had to carefully use a medium-large flat head to press the black plastic tab in while pressing down on the plug, then pulling up. Very long pliers are very helpful for the removal, first removing the gray one, then the black one, leveraging on the block for lift. Have a blessed day!

I kept getting a check engine light code on my 2015 Equinox. I would use my FixD to clear the light but it wouldn’t take long before it came back on. The code told me that it was a camshaft sensor. They come in pairs, intake and outtake exhaust sensors. I just YouTubed how to install them. Very easy DYI. I had ordered on a Wednesday and received them the next day. Extremely fast! Car runs much better and no check engine light so far. Definitely a good buy!

These fit perfectly in my girlfriends 2012 Malibu. Soo easy to install that my 12 year old son installed one of them. If you have any basic mechanics skill and can look things up on you tube you will be able to do this repair with out being ripped off by a dealership. It was also packaged extremely well and seemed to be a quality product. These have been installed for over a year now and have not had the MIL codes come back so I am guessing they will last.

The media could not be loaded. I gave it a shot and tried to save money but in the long run it ended up costing me a day of time. These worked great when they were cold but once the car got warm it would idle erratically. Also it would have a cold start rattle due to these allowing oil pressure by when they were supposed to be in the off position. They would not let the camshaft actuators fully Park. I was able to watch it with my scan tool actual and desired position and they could not maintain the desired position when warm. Went to the dealer and bought new OEM solenoids and my problem is fixed.

So when I ordered these I thought the price was going to be a little high but come to find out it was actually a better price for both vs just the one. Needed these and they fit perfectly. Brand is better than expected and time of arrival was just right, especially with the holidays. Most definitely recommend.

Works as advertised on my 15 equinox. No problems with installation, no CEL after install and no performance problems.
