Great Carbon Fork for Price
I've had this carbon fork on my trail bike for 2 years now. Waited to write the review until the fork was tried and tested. I ride this bike on different terrains: gravel/dirt/asphalt paths. I don't use as a MTB. I take it when I don't know what the trails are like where I'm going and I used it a lot after surgery for a brain tumor and I did not trust my balance on my Canondale road bike. I wanted to lighten up the big box 29er MTB (toss very heavy shock absorber fork) and did not want to spend a ton of money. I was sceptical because of price. It really lightened bike togehter with 42mm trail tires I bought. I trust this fork 100 percent, it looks great (black fork on black bike) and the bike roles much easier now. I am very pleqsed with my purchase. I could have installed myself had I had the right tools but I decided to take to my bike shop. They cut the stem down, installed all the necessary parts and did the change out for next to nothing. So for me that was the better way to go. I can't say enough good about this carbon fork

Too weak.
This fork cracked (just below and behind headset) after one summer ~450 miles

The fork looks great, and there is zero damage
First impressions as I open the package are promising! The fork looks great, and there is zero damage, no cosmetic defects visible. Will update once I've had a chance to install and test out.

You get what you pay for...
I know very little about bikes but I'm mechanically inclined. I installed this fork on my wife's old bike (she bought a new one because the suspension forks on her old bike we're super squishy, heavy and made the bike harder for her to ride). They went on fairly well... However, I had to have our LBS remove the crown race from the old fork and install them on the new fork (I didn't have the proper tool and wasn't going to invest in the tooling for a one off job). The brakes lined up fairly well but there is significant flex in the new carbon fiber fork under moderate to heavy breaking. I wouldn't feel comfortable riding the bike off road AT ALL! It has a pretty sketchy feel now. I guess it will be ok for street riding but I wouldn't trust it for much more than that. I thought I would gamble and hope for the best but it didn't work out this time.

fell apart at first but I glued it back together
8 days after the return window closed, while removing the wheel, the metal insert on one side where the fork clamps to the axle came out and landed in the bushes. If I ever find it maybe it can be epoxied back in, I don't know. Fork is no longer useable.Update: I found the insert that fell out and successfully epoxied it back in. Fork works fine now.
