Open Mind Games GameMastery Combat Pad Extra Magnet Booster Pack

I have the original Combat Pad made by Paizo and I used up the magnets because I have multiple groups that I play with. So I thought I'd buy this magnet expansion thinking it was the same style magnets as the original. And although there may be a pad that goes with these, it was not the one I already had. So, I'm a little disappointed with these, as if there were more pictures of what these magnets looked like I would not have been surprised with my purchase. As is you're left guessing. So although it is a fine enough set of magnets, I wish it truly was an expansion of the set that I thought it was, otherwise I would have just bought another pad.

I use the  Pathfinder Combat Pad , which I keep in one of the pockets of my  Worlds Greatest GM Screen  during play. The magnets in this "Extra Magnet Booster" are clearly designed to be used with these or similar products, and their magnetic attraction is strong enough to 'grab' the pad through the clear plastic vinyl pocket, but not so strong that they can't be easily moved or rearranged. As an added bonus, the magnets, combat pad, and GM's screen can all be written on with dry-erase markers.

If you play D&D like we do, which is a lot, keeping up with the mobs/characters/etc can be a full time job. But, having this pack with a simple dry erase board makes it a breeze!! It is so much easier to track hit points, and pretty much anything else with this pack. A must for any D&D gamers out there.

Cheaper option if you are trying to save money. Writable part may come off in time pending use.

Very nice quality but it is for 1 sheet. MSRP on product is for about $8 but sells for more. Kind of expensive when compared to other products. It does help keep track of player initiative

Used these with a basic dry erase board for awhile. Quickly reverted back to tracking initiative with just markers and the dry erase board, as the magnets can be clunky and hard to manipulate. They look nice and all, but tend to slow things down. At least for us. Thanks for listening =)

I had the Original Pathfinder Combat pad, bought it 3 or so years ago, Lost some magnets along the way, went to go buy this, Not only do you get less pieces, they are bulkier than the originals, they are flimsy, and their magnet strength is so bad you can turn the combat pad upside down and they will fall off. I completely hate it. If you need a refill, honestly just go buy another combat pad.

I love me gm pad and over time had lost some of the magnets for it, this was a great supplement to replace them
