The deep conditioner/mask works very very very well. It detangles, shines, gives body and volume without frizz and makes hair super soft and manageable. It honestly felt like I got a fresh haircut that fresh healthy ends feeling you get when you take 4 inches off. But it was so heavily fragrances that my whole house smelled like the conditioner after my shower. So I am not keeping it. I am quite sensitive fo fragrance and my skin doesn't like it. But if you don't mind a strong fragrance (not bad, just strong) please do get this one! It performed better than my Sephora bought ones. (Soul mask)

For starters, I have very damaged hair. It’s not been processed at all, no blow drying ever, it’s just very long hair that’s been growing for 10+ years with no trims in all that time. I refuse to get my hair trimmed so my hair looked very rough and dry with lots of split ends. The roughness of my hair, especially near the ends, didn’t feel or look nice and made brushing, combing and detangling my hair a nightmare, even with conditioners, oils and detangling spray.I saw this product recommended in a video and decided to give it a try as the person whose video I watched raved about it. The price was another plus because it’s very affordable too. I was skeptical that any one product would help my old, damaged hair but I was wrong. So very, very wrong.This product, Dove Intensive Repair, has completely transformed my hair after just one use. My years old, dry, rough hair with horrible split ends that would get tangled if I just looked at it wrong is now smooth, silky, soft and shiny. I can’t get over how nice my hair looks and feels. I didn’t even have to use my detangling spray after washing my hair because it’s like this product erased or prevented any tangles from even forming. It’s made combing, brushing and braiding my hair a dream.The product is very easy to use. Wash and condition your hair as normal, using any shampoo and conditioner you like (this product’s label says to use Dove shampoo and conditioner but I didn’t and it still works great). Then, after you rinse the conditioner out of your hair squeeze as much water out of your hair as possible and apply this repair treatment from midway down your hair (so not on your scalp) and all the way to the ends. The label says to leave it on for 1 minute then rinse but I left it on for 3 minutes because my hair is so damaged and it worked beautifully.The only drawback to this wonderful product is that it does have a lot of fragrance in it. It’s a pleasant perfumed scent but it’s strong so if you’re sensitive to perfume it might not be for you. If they had a fragrance-free version it would be absolutely perfect but even with the fragrance it’s still a winner and I’m so glad I gave it a try. Dove Intensive Repair is truly a miracle cure for rough, dry, damaged hair.

I really like the Dove product line overall. It does seem simple, pure, effective, and the right value. After I tried this, my hairstylist actually asked what I was using because she said my hair felt great. I’m 52 and my hormones are changing regularly, And sometimes I see that in my hair. This has helped me to mitigate the sometimes dry look, and now my hair just looks natural and soft. I’m growing out my grays as well, and I think this fits into my routine now perfectly. Macklemore said that the greatest trick the devil ever played was convincing women that we look better in our make up. I still wear make up, but so you can see my features, not to hide them. And I use this product so my hair can be exactly what it’s supposed to be. Soft, beautiful, and coming into my silver.

Shocked how well this moisturized my hair - I have curly, color treated hair so it runs pretty dry. Definitely increased hair health - shine, softness increased dramatically, moderate frizz reduction. Rinses easily, and is a worth every penny of the price point.

I have wavy porous bleached dry hair. Most oils and conditioners do nothing except weigh my hair down but do not moisturize at all. I have tried hundreds of products, including salon products. This, however, was recommended by a dermatologist on Tiktok. It was inexpensive enough I thought I would give it a try. I'm glad I did because I LOVE IT!!!! I have used it as a mask before the shower but find it just as effective when using it in shower for 3-10 minutes after I shampoo. My hair is moisturized, my waves are soft, my frizz is mostly gone, my hair no longer feels like straw. Only thing I wish would change is the tub, I wish it came in a bottle with a pump because I inevitably drop some product scooping it from the tub or I get water in the tub.

Ok this is not a paid review: I really love this stuff. I use it religiously and it has really helped my hair. Before, I was using a $40 mask and couldn’t run a brush through my hair. I switched to dove and my hair never tangles anymore and is so healthy now. I do bleach my hair and this helps it recover in between bleaching. I alternate every other wash with this one and the bond one by Dove also. I use it after my regular conditioner and let it sit for about a minute then rinse with cold water. It leaves my hair so so soft. As a fine, thin, fragile haired girlie this is my holy grail!!

This hair mask is the BEST! It leaves my hair feeling silky, soft, and deeply nourished. The scent is amazing, and I love how it detangles and adds shine. I've tried many hair masks, but this one is hands -down my favorite - highly recommend.

I highlight my hair and only wash it twice a week. I use this product every time I wash. Makes my hair smooth and soft but not greasy. My hair is shinier and more manageable now that I'm using this!
