Very functional travel backpack.
I really like this bag, it holds everything I need for traveling, it is an accepted carry on, and the material is good for any weather I have encountered. I found it to be a very good value for the price.I have found the bag to be comfortable for traveling both through town or in tight spaces.Overall, I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it for weekend travel.

Great bag - well designed and perfect for the 'light traveler'
Several decades ago, my girlfriend at the time and I had a month to tour France on Eurail passes. I'm not sure where she found them, but we had a couple of backpacks with handles that we used for all of our stuff. What we both learned on tht trip was the old adage - "pack less clothes and take more money". When I ran across the HOMIEE travel backpack, it really took me back to that great experience.Anyway, when my HOMIEE backpack arrived, I was immediately impressed with it. The materials (read comment in next paragraph re materials) and craftsmanship were really good, and the thought applied to the design and utility of the bag was impressive. Lots of extra pouches for things like passports, and places to store shoes/wet clothes, all with nice high-quality zippers with easy to get to pulls. TSA approved with carrying handles in two locations in addition to the comfortable backpack straps. Big enough for a 17" laptop and a cord for a battery with an external USB port. Whoever designed this bag really thought about it.Call me old school, but if I had only one other wish to improve this bag, it would be that they had used canvas instead of the coated fabric that makes up the bulk of the bag. This isn't a complaint, as It appears tough enough, and I assume the manufacturer chose this material wisely, but only time and use will tell me if it holds up like my old official canvas BSA backpack which was made in the 1960's - which still rocks on.I'm contemplating a trip to the East (not sure where - Japan, Thailand or maybe India) in the spring of 2025, and I plan to take this bag with me. Despite the fact it's not canvas, there are just too many great details and qualities about this bag to ignore or not take advantage of.

Perfect for Frontier Airlines Personal item
I got this on sale and for the price, it was a great deal. The quality is good, the pockets worked really well and I was able to fit it even quite full into the Frontier Airlines personal item sizer.

Very Impressed
I’ve never owned higher end back pack brands like Tom Bihn, Pakt, North Face, Patagonia, Cotopaxi, etc, so I can’t compare it to those. What I can tell you is that this bag is what I imagine when I think of the quality level in a pricier backpack. I have learned over the years that more expensive doesn’t always mean better quality.I think you can buy this one with confidence. It’s almost an exact replica of the TomToc 40L rucksack, but about half the price at the time of this review.Durability: This bag just came back home with me from a 3 day trip to NYC, and a 4 day total round trip train ride. It’s in the same condition it was in the day I packed it. No scratches, tears, etc. All the zippers on the back work smoothly and none have separated. The cinching straps worked like a charm and didn’t break. I’m super impressed by the padding on the shoulder straps. They’re firm, but soft, comfortable and supportive. They’re double reinforced at their attachment to the bag, so that gave me confidence to pack it as heavy as I needed to. The handles on the top and side are thick and durable as well.Aesthetics: It has a sleek, professional look to it until you overpack it. It’s shaped like a vertical duffle bag, so it tends to look a little silly if overpacked. The material is a smooth, soft, leathery type stuff that’s also supposed to be waterproof. Luckily I was never in a position to test that theory, but judging by it, I would count on its ability to repel water.Capacity: There are 2 small exterior sections and a larger one on the main flap. The inside has a waterproof zippered compartment for toiletry separation. There’s also a compartment for shoes to keep them separate, although this does take away from space inside the bag. I was able to use the secondary area to shove my iPad and I also could have gotten a laptop in if I wanted, as well as some other items. I was able to easily pack 3 full changes of clothing, a pair of PJs, 7 sets of underwear including socks, and all my toiletries as well as some other random travel stuff. The bag was heavy, but still comfortable to carry. I do believe it has a true 40 L capacity as stated. The duffle style flap makes it easy to get in and out of. The water bottle pictured is a 24 ounce but I have a 32 ounce it fits as well.If you’re in the market for a 40L backpack and you’d rather go for budget friendly practicality, this is an awesome bag for your consideration. As I said before, pricey doesn’t always mean better, so you don’t have to spend an arm and a leg on expensive travel gear. I can see this bag lasting a good while with average occasional use. If it fails in any way, I’ll update my review. For now, 10 stars!
