Zhiyou Metal Tripod Mount Tablet Clamp Holder for 7.9"~12.9" iPads iPad Mini iPad Pro etc.

This is a well-finished and properly engineered gadget, perfect for holding my iPad Mini on a tripod for video conference calls. The main parts are in black metal, not plastic, and it feels solid. It isn't the cheapest solution, but I'd rather pay a little extra to get something like this which inspires confidence and gives satisfaction whenever it is used.

Good quality and well built. Overpriced for what it is though. Doesn’t hold iPad securely even if it’s in a slim case. Didn’t try without a case as I don’t see a point having to take it in and out of a case everytime

Fit for purchase

Poor, the screws came loose and the bars kept slipping making it very unstable. Ended up catching my iPad twice due to the bars coming loose. Very disappointed. Currently looking for a new mount.

Photos show a 10.5" Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 in a variety of orientations allowed by the mount. The tripod is a Manfrotto one.The mount is very solidly constructed from aluminium alloy, with standard tripod screw holes on the bottom and back, and a cold shoe on top for a mic or lamp. The mechanism is a simple slide, with a pretty solid screw catch to secure.You really need to remove the tablet from a case to use the mount. I have an Infiland case that is a plastic tray with magnetic screen cover, and whilst it's possible to put it in the mount, the tablet isn't held anywhere near as securely as without the case, so needs extreme care.The mount also has no rubber on the main spine to prevent scratches to the back of the tablet. I used some rubber toolbox liner (pic) to protect the tablet.Overall the mount is solid and well made, and more secure than the plastic equivalent. It's not lightweight though, and expensive.

Item is made of high grade materials and have a great finish. The functionality is great if the iPad is NOT in a case of protection. Check with yourself if you want to use it with or without an external case on your iPad. If the iPad is in a case of protection, there can be risk that the grips do not reach far enough out (see picture one) and the iPad may fall or slip off, risking damage.

Diciamo subito che è bello è robusto, ci metti un treppiede sotto e riparti con shotgun, faretto etc sopra, ottimo ache per blogger e giornalisti, ha bel 25 cm di apertura, io ci ho messo anche un monitor USB-C acer di grandi dimensioni e che non era comodo appoggiato alla scrivania (troppo basso) , la foto spiega tutto

Ist komplett aus schön gefertigtem Alu, robust und funktioniert problemlos mit meinem 12,9" iPad Pro. Wobei da sogar noch 5cm Platz nach oben wären wenn man z.B. ne fette Hülle ums Tablet hat.Ich hab mir das Teil fürs Drohne fliegen gekauft. Das "Flight Deck" von PolarPro, das ich benutze, hat zwar einen beigelegten Tablethalter; da passt aber mein iPad nicht rein. Darum das Teil hier. Das Gewinde am unteren Ende passt perfekt zum Flight Deck.

Lo que más valoro material y calidad de acabado. Lo uso para sujetar un iPad mini como navegador en el coche. En mi caso va sujeto con una pinza superclamp de Manfrotto. Ha de apretarse muy bien todo con algún guante de goma o similar y queda muy firme. Va en un 4x4 así que puedo afirmar que es muy resistente.Elegí este sistema porque no me convencen los sistemas tipo RAM por precio y todo ha de ser de la marca encareciendo mucho el conjunto. Como ya disponía de accesorios Manfrotto elegí este soporte.Como punto negativo que no puede montarse el iPad con funda. Quizá alguna de silicona muy fina pero no lo sé. Ha de protegerse la parte trasera para no arañar las tabletas.
