Big Bang for the Buck
My wife and I (and eight children) have a house that is about a third carpet. We have gone through a lot of "affordable" options for carpet cleaners that have not been able to hold up or just not been very good. This was definitely an experiment with looking at something a bit fancier in the hopes that it will do better. As far as performance goes, it is definitely the best we have used. We tested the main unit on a rug as well as the upholstery tool on our stairs and on a couch (pictures attached). No clue what the stains were, but with barely any elbow grease it tucked them right up. Use was super simple and intuitive and the auto drive is a back saver! Clean up after is also super easy as all of the pain in the butt spots, like the nozzle, are all able to be opened up for easy access. So far, super happy with this machine. Will have to look at posting an update after a few months of use!

Awesome
I bought this because I have a potty training toddler at home. It IS a lot more money than others on the market, but the ease of using it makes the extra cost worth it to me. I’ve used this to clean up spilled acrylic paint of my rug and it got everything out. It even picked up a months old spaghetti sauce stain I couldn’t get out. I LOVE the self propelled feature it makes it very easy to use and maneuver. It is heavy, but light enough that I can still lift it myself. I am not sure how it compares to weight of other carpet cleaners. Overall, this works amazingly well and I highly recommend it. My only complaint is that the water tank is a bit small. I have to change it while cleaning just my living room rug. I haven’t tried it on my carpet yet but I’d imagine I’ll be changing the water multiple times per room.

It's good, but not great. Needs some more work.
Beege's great review covered most of what I was going to say, but I'll go a little further: this machine has a serious engineering flaw in that it forces you to be emptying the dirty water tank every few minutes - even though the tank is nowhere near full. Since the water is black and disgusting, and can easily clog your drain up, I really hated having to do that so often. Why have such a huge dirty water tank, when the machine won't allow it to get even 1/5 of the way full before forcing you to empty it?It also does that with the self-cleaning function. A self-cleaning function should always work and not be something that gives you stress. Most of the time, it stopped around 30 seconds into it and forced me to "please empty the dirty water tank", even though I *started* with an empty tank! So I'd go empty it, again, put it back on, and self-cleaning would resume... for another few seconds before stopping again. Only rarely did the cycle complete without stopping numerous times for emptying. Also it does that on drying mode too. If I'm just drying, why is the tank demanding to be emptied every few minutes - when there's barely anything in it? It's a serious flaw. Also the hand held tool leaves much to be desired. With hard scrubbing, it tends to fall apart, and is frustrating to have to put back together. Also the trigger sprayer most of the time either put out no water, or a worthless dribble. Apparently your clean water tank has to be at least 90% full, or else the sprayer on the tool doesn't have enough pressure to get a good stream out. That said, it's not a huge problem, and the tool does a decent job as long as you accept that there's problems with it. It was very good at running across some dirty walls that had dust bunnies and old webs; it took them right off. But overall, I didn't like having to remember to not scrub too hard with the tool, lest the brush fall off, and I disliked having to use it without water a lot of the time. Those were the insufferable things that made me send it back and get the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam instead. But I will say, there are good things about it, as Beege mentioned. No trigger to press all the time; automatic water dispersion. And the drying mode is awesome and really works, even if a little time-consuming. The self-cleaning and drying of the brush is a great feature - when it works. The talking voice, well, it was cool at first but I quickly turned it off as it feels more like nagging than being helpful. "Please empty the dirty water tank" is not a phase I ever want to hear again in my life, after using this machine.

Assembled and washed my guest room carpet in less than 10 minutes!
The media could not be loaded. WOW! The Carpet One cruiser did not disappoint!I received it today and cleaned my guest room. I had no idea my floors needed to be cleaned until I saw the dirty water.Works very well, took less than 3 minutes to assemble, super easy as I had a phone in one hand while I put it together. The two giant big tires in the back help move it around the house and on the carpets. The clean water tank is easy to fill. The cord length is nice as there was more than enough cord to go around the room. It suctioned very well and left my carpet almost 100% dry ( about 96%).The carpet one cruiser looks very stylish. I am amazed that I was able to assemble and wash my guest room in less than 10 minutes. Very confident. PLUS,, my carpet is practically dry! Some key things I find very useful from it1) It has autopropelar to help keep the machine moving forward, creating less strain on me2) auto voice prompts- tells me when my dirty tank is full, when I need to refill the clean water tank and reminds me to clean the machine3) comes with a storage stand, this is nice because it keeps any moisture still on the machine, off the floor.4) The indicator light, I like knowing if the carpet is clean5) Giant dirty water tank means I don't have to dump it out constantly5) Able to change the modes from"auto" " max" and " dry"I am looking forward to washing the other rooms in the house!

Life changing purchase!
I will never own any other carpet shampooer ever again! This has been a complete game changer when it comes to shampooing carpets. It automatically senses dirtier spots distributing more water/cleaning solution and extra scrub time to those spots as well. The carpet drying feature is wonderful fully drying the carpet so you don’t have to worry about wet carpet smell or waiting for long periods of time for it to dry! The self cleaning mode when you are all done is super helpful and does an amazing job. I do wish the hose attachment had better features like the actual shampooer but it does the job well. Worth every penny in my opinion!
