Incredible lather! The soap is a gentle cleanser with a mild but sweet fragrance. The included soap bag is perfect for exfoliation and doubles the amount of lather. The soap (bar) does not last long so I won’t be able to use it as my everyday soap. It’s a little too expensive for me to do that, but I would if I could.

I am middle aged and starting perimenopause and heard about persimmon soap as the go-to for body odors associated with aging. So far I don't have noneal going on yet but have the dreaded hormonal armpit stink. I have been trying and rotating a few products and soaps for a few years but this really is a game changer! I feel really deep clean after washing with this and it helps my deodorant actually last. Even when everything begins to wear off, there is barely a smell instead of instantly rancid like before. Nothing has ever worked this great and lasted into the next day even. It seems to be actively working on the microbiome in a lasting way. A certain popular acidified product makes that claim but this works way better for me and does not leave me with a new worse body odor later on like that product did. This knocks out all the bad smells and keeps them away for a long time.I noticed it's way more effective when I followed the directions and let the soap sit on my skin for several seconds. But even just a quick wash works way better than anything I have ever tried.I am sensitive to smells and get migraines so I was a bit worried what this would smell like. I was pleasantly surprised this has a soft, clean, very mild fruit scent and it doesn't linger on my skin. Its kind of a small bar so I only wash areas that stink with this. Right now that's all I need.

I didn’t expect the fine mesh bag that you can hang it up with in the shower to come with it. The soap has a nice scent. Lathers well and rinses clean. I bought this because the Japanese persimmon soap is pricey and I’m very happy with my purchase. Nice value for the cost.

I ordered this soap for my elderly mother who is dealing with "old person" smell. She has always bathed regularly so this is not a hygiene issue. She has been using this soap for a couple of weeks now & she does smell fresher for several hours afterwards. Unfortunately, nothing can entirely eliminate the smell but this really does help. I feel that this product is affordable and effective. I would recommend it to others.

This soap has been so helpful in my battle of body odor. Due to some medical conditions, I have been at war with BO for the majority of my life.I saw an advertisement for persimmon soap being known to help with "old people smell" and decided to see if it was also effective at crushing other body odors as well.I am not disappointed!It lathers very well, is soft and silky feeling, has a nice gentle scent and rinses off nicely, leaving my skin feeling clean and soft.Highly recommend.

I recently noticed a faint odor on my body: as a 77 year old CLEAN person...I was perplexed over what to do. I ordered a popular natural soap product (Dr. Bronner's) but was so disappointed because very soon after showering, the odor returned. This odor is documented and is a natural smell - but I do not like it. So I looked on Amazon and found this product. Much to my surprise and JOY, this soap eliminates the odor - under arms, intimate areas and over the body. I am very happy to have found this soap. It's gentle also.

Love this soap. It is clean and fresh and keeps me fresh for hours. I love the little net bags that I feel makes the soap last longer.

This soap does wash away that 'old people', nonenal smell well enough but it doesn't compare to my favorite persimmon soap. This soap is somewhat drying to my skin, face and hands. I have sensitive skin so I have to be careful with the products I use and sometimes when I use this soap it makes the palms of my hands irritated and red. My favorite soap is creamy feeling, it makes a luxurious lather and moisturizes my 'mature woman', old lady skin. It also lasts longer and although you get 3 bars of this soap as compared to two of my favorite, I still wont' be purchasing this again. So if you don't have sensitive or dry skin this soap might be great for you. If you do then I've been ordering my favorite soap from Amazon for years and it has Japanese writing on the packaging.
