Every parent should own a pair!
I've just purchased a pair of these on a whim because I'm solo parenting my two kids (8m, 1.5f) while my partner is away for the week and I realized, why have my noise cancelling headphones on without anything playing when I can just have something like this? Just like many people, I'm easily overstimulated by noise, so just getting through a day alone without feeling overwhelmed can be hard, but these earplugs are amazing!I've had them in since school let out and I haven't shouted at my children to turn the volume down once in nearly 6 hours!! Only the normal stuff!! So I can confirm also that as life-changing as they are, they do not in fact change your children's willingness to eat food off the floor, pull last night's empty milk jug out of the recycle bin, walk in on you in the bathroom, jump off the couch, and throw perfectly good cups of water on the ground in a fit of rage (and that's just my 1 year old) 🤷♀️ At least you won't lose your crap over the noise of it all!

Engage 2 has the lowest sound reduction.
If you want the model with the lowest sound reduction, these are the ones from this line up. They worked great for the Disturbed concert! I wouldn't go up in the reduction rating unless you have particularly sensitive ears. I have sensitive ears but this was enough protection for sure. In fact I might have used the smaller inserts to hear even more, had I brought them. But the regular fitting inserts did the job well, for what they're able to do.Unfortunately the sound quality does drop somewhat because after all, we are blocking it somewhat. I considered electronic buds that drop the sound when the decibels hit a certain level but if they work like the over-the-ear phones I've used they will drop dangerous sound levels to a point where you barely hear it. So the sound might be jumping from clear to super low for safety, but not great for music. So I went with the Loop brand for the numbers mainly. Other brands don't seem to offer a model with this low of a rating, which equals more sound. The clear units are almost invisible if you want to be discreet and not look like "the old guy with ear plugs" :)I purchased two pairs and found what some other reviewers did, that some cases don't snap shut super tight. Be careful since these are expensive to be blunt. But a small price compared to hearing damage discomfort that can last from hours to days, or worse.

Decent product, kind of pricy.
Really good earplugs! honestly, I wish they muted even less. people have to kind of yell at you for you to hear them, but regardless, nice for lessening overwhelm. I also think the price is rather crazy for just some plastic, but hopefully its for a good reason. Similar to earbuds in my opinion. I bought a pill container to store them in because the OLD loops case was incredibly untrustworthy and broke so i am afraid to trust this new one lol… I plan to use them at a concert later this year!

Perfect!!
This was my first time using any hearing protection at a concert (probably long overdue) and it was the best decision ever! It takes a minute to adjust but I found these were the perfect amount of noise reduction without making the show too muffled. People nearby that sounded so loud without the loops were way quieter with them on, but the show still sounded clear. I thought the switch or the experience one may be better at first, but I think the engage was perfect for a show - it definitely felt like enough reduction, and I felt like anything more could start to get muffled. Conversations were clear enough, you can’t hear yourself well but even without earplugs I can barely hear myself at concerts. I will also say I usually hate in-ear things (AirPods pro are way too big for my ear, earplugs and surveillance headsets usually hurt) but these with the XS size tips were perfect! Didn’t get uncomfortable or fall out at all.Overall stoked on these and excited to take them to more shows & even just use them to tune out surroundings and focus - they really make things less overstimulating and more enjoyable without taking anything away from the experience!

Good
I purchased these to use at my son‘s baseball and wrestling tournaments. I needed something that would help me not be overstimulated by the end of these events. These did the trick. It’s a sensation that is hard to explain, I can still hear, but more comfortably? It makes the sounds more muffled where it’s actually almost soothing. Everything is the same volume. I can still hear people talk to me, and I can talk back to them without hearing myself. They fit nicely in my ears. They don’t hurt my ears. They’re easy to put in my ears and remove without hurting or breaking. They’re a good quality. It would take a lot to break them. And it’s nice because they come with different size ear inserts so you can test out which size fits you best. I have taken naps with these on. I am a side sleeper and I toss and turn and they have not fallen out of my ears. I have eaten with these in And I don’t annoyingly hear myself chew and I don’t fall out. Great for the price. Great for long wearing without hurting your ears. They come with a nice carrying case so you don’t lose them. Easy to clean works very well. Stay in place and the perfect little size that they’re not even noticeable Totally recommend.

Just another thing for me to think about
I don’t know what they are exactly supposed to do. I have ADHD and was told that they would help me focus but the only thing I focus on is the fact that there is something in my ears. Tried all the sizes they send and none fit comfortably for me. I could have odd ear holes or just sensitive ears idk.

AMAZING
My fiance likes to play really loud and bassy music. With these, I can still have a conversation with him (better than without) and not end up with a headache or feeling deaf.Personally, I usually hate the in-the-ear buds, but these are actually comfortable for me to wear for a couple hours.I have seen some teachers use them as well, but as a high school teacher I found it a little more difficult than with the music mentioned above because it was harder to converse with more people around (for me).
