Financial Accounting For Dummies

I found this book to be really helpful. For my MBA I'm taking a Finance class and it's like trying to learn a foreign language in 16 weeks. I decided to order this book for my Kindle in hopes that I could get a better understanding of some of the terminology of financial accounting, and that is exactly what this was good for. I skipped some of the middle chapters about journal entries because my class doesn't cover that, but because of the table of contents it's easy to skip around and just select the content that is relevant for you. I appreciate the layman's terms and hopefully with this and a gracious tutor I can pass this class!!

The book i need

The book is not bad. I'm just a little upset, because the description said that the book was a supplement to a Financial Accounting college course but it is not. The book "Does Not" follow the outline of an College Course, so it makes it very hard to follow through. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, buy another book for ACG2021 Principles of Financial Accounting. ---By the way, I'm not bashing the FOR DUMMIES Brand.....I've supported the brand for other topics.

Has detailed info and examples for what I needed in my college freshman accounting class.

I am studying for my insurance CPCU Financial and Accounting course. This book has been so great. It dummy downs everything to my level - I had to training or classes at all in accounting. Recommend this book highly.

Its a good book to learn new concepts and review.

Quality materials, solid protective case for the Paperwhite. The interior cover is soft to avoid scratches to the screen. Magnetic clip that puts the Kindle to sleep - that's a nice feature.One of my concerns was the ability to fold the flap to the back for one hand reading, but it looks the cover has the right flex to allow that.Overall very happy.

Delighted with this book as an Account Technician student - gave clarity and good examples. Laid out well and helpful for revising.

Haven't finished reading the book yet, but it's quite thorough and comprehensive. It touches on the important components of financial accounting, not all the mind-boggling details; that no one remembers.
