OK for a leave-in conditioner
I applaud the seller for full disclosure of ingredients. This is a MUST for me. I firmly believe a buyer has the right to see all ingredients prior to a purchase. (I deduct a star when products do not fully disclose). The only reason for the 4-star review is that it is too soon to tell how fantastic the product is.I don't plan to heat my hair up to 450 degrees to truly test this, but I do not have a problem with using a leave in conditioner during the summer on my hair. So, I don't care about the heat protection. I am wanting just a general condition and prevent breakage. In the summer when doing yard work, I toss my hair into a ponytail, that twisting of the ponytail holder is damaging to my hair. I will at a minimum weekly deep condition my hair. I have yet to ever truly use a leave in conditioner. My hair is NOT oily, and truly does not need a shampoo daily. Sometimes I shower my body and put in a deep conditioner in my hair and let it sit for 20 minutes prior to my shower. So, I am often looking for a conditioner that does not leave my hair looking greasy, or one that changes my hair color darker when in my hair.I can't give it a full 5-star rating, YET, but if after continued use and I am royally impressed, I will come back. For a leave in conditioner, I put this on my very dry hair. I always let my hair air dry. and I pretty much detangle with a finger comb. But I will also try putting it on my hair when my hair is wet.

Makes your hair so smooth
My hair went from frizzy to super smooth even from the first use. Hair stayed silky smooth even the next day. The smell is closer to minty / herbal than fruity (which is usually my preference) but smells good. Definitely does its job and protecting my hair from heat too

Works well
This heat protectant leave-in conditioner seems to work well in my hair. I usually use about a nickel-sized amount for my shoulder length hair and it's enough to work through all my hair. My hair stays soft and silky after blow-drying, so it seems as a heat protectant, it works well. Also, it leaves my hair feeling soft, so it's good as well for conditioning the hair. And it doesn't leave a heavy buildup on my hair, which is critical as I have fine hair and any buildup makes it limp, which I did not have using this product. However, as much as I like this product, the price is more than I'm willing to pay for a leave-in conditioner & heat protectant.

Works wonderfully as a leave in conditioner
My hair is dry and this leave in conditioner helps with my dry roots and strands. It allows me to brush through my hair smoothly without tangles. It also makes my hair feel silky smooth. You apply a few drops on palm of hands and apply on roots against damp hair. I don't blow dry or use flat iron anymore so the "protectant" part isn't tested on my end. I use this once a week.

Leaves hair shiny & less frizz; Doesn't add weight to hair
This heat protectant has helped my hair a lot. I like how it just takes a little bit of product to throughly cover my shoulder length medium thick hair. It saturates my hair well. It does not feel greasy or add unwanted weight to my hair. It has a great scent, When dry, my hair is shiny, bouncy, and has less frizz. I like the quality ingredients used in the formula, too. My only complaint is the expensive price point.

Leave-in conditioner with heat protection
Years ago, my hairdresser told me to use a heat-protecting conditioner because my hair was getting fried from my hot iron. I’ve made it a point to use this type of product ever since, because I certainly don’t want to damage my hair. The products I have used in the past were pricey, so I don’t feel this one is overly expensive. This conditioner has a pleasant scent, and it leaves my hair feeling soft and without frizz. I appreciate that it is made in the USA with clean ingredients and is cruelty free.

Works well, but pricey!
This Mend leave in conditioner/heat protectant worked very well on my hair. My hair is long, very thick, and wavy and tends to be very frizzy. I used this product before blow drying and my hair was definitely smoother/straighter than usual. Not smooth enough to be dry-and-go, but smooth enough to have a head start for my straightener. I did not care for the scent of this product but I couldn’t smell it once I rinsed it out.I am deducting one star on this because the listing is a little misleading. The listing title currently includes “(8.45 Fl Oz)”. That is the size of the shampoo and conditioner which are not included in this purchase. What you receive is a 2 ounce bottle of the Mend product, making this product fairly pricey at $20/ounce.

I enjoyed this product
I'm generally not a huge fan of leave ins because my hair is very baby fine and leave ins can often leave it looking greasy or dirty, but I did not feel that this product did. It was easy to apply to damp hair and then I just styled as usual. It left my hair feeling nice and soft and healthy and didn't weigh it down which is important to me. I like thos product and a little went a long way which increases its value as well.
