Zaftig Womens Plus Size Thermal Tights, Terry-lined Brushed Interior

Well at first I thought I would really like these. But after about an hour and only an hour of wearing these the material kept catching between my upper inner thigh; between my legs. The material would catch on itself and then break and then it started pilling really badly. I took photos of only an hour into wearing them around the house. I can't imagine how bad the pilling and damage it would do to the material just after a day of wearing it. Just for some context. I'm normally a 3X and I do not have large thighs, hips or butt. Actually for a woman my size my thighs, hips and butt are very small. My thighs rub a little bit together but not too bad. And I have had other leggings/ stockings before that do not act like this. The material feels nice otherwise. I think if someone was larger in thighs, hips and butt area it would be harder to put on and very see through. overall I would not buy these again. I did buy a few leggings and the best ones I have ever found so far on Amazon is by Leggings Depot Ultra Soft Basic Solid Plain Full Leggings Stretch 128 Plus Size 3X-4X. These other ones I found are the best feeling ones so far and the material does not catch or pill up.

UPDATE after a couple of months: well, I would still say the quality is pretty good, but the elastic has definitely loosened after some washings. (But that is not that surprising.) I've also noticed that if I have very dry skin or a hang nail, I do have to be very careful with these as they do tend to snag like pantyhose does. They are probably a bit too soft, since most people DO have dry skin in the winter! The Manzi brand has turned out to be more durable--I would recommend Manzi over this, unless Manzi is out of stock. So I downgraded to four stars, but still an excellent winter tight.****************Finally! Thank you for offering great-quality FOOTED winter tights! I am so sick of having to pair leggings with socks, and then dealing with the socks sliding down into my boots. There was another brand I tried a couple of years ago which was terrible. The only ones I was able to get the last couple of years were the Mondor skating tights, but they are not as warm as these and they only came in beige. Love the softness and color options here. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I had hoped for better from these tights. They're decently warm, but there are too many strikes against them for me to consider buying them again. First off, they have a gusset. Even though these tights are a little big on me, the fabric is already starting to tear away from the gusset after two wears, and the gusset itself is uncomfortable and unnecessary, and make it so that, even though this fabric is very stretchy, the fit is going to be awkward and more limited. Second, these tights get horribly saggy at the ankles, and even a bit at the knees, especially if you are walking around a lot. Third, they started pilling and wearing through around the shoe almost immediately after putting them on, and there are other patches of wear on them already. Fourth, they appear to be a cool-toned grey in the photo, but they are a more neutral-to-warm tone, and are slightly ribbed rather than flat. I would not recommend these.

I bought the 6 pack that came with black, gray, and navy blue. Also, I bought the tights in size 1x-3x. I'm about a 1x and about 5'5" with legs slightly longer than average for my height. I also have muscular thighs so usually my biggest problem with fit is the thigh area.I really wanted to like these. They looked like what I was looking for when I opened the box, but these tights fit strangely on me. I think these tights are better for a taller person with more of an apple shape. The bottom area has a triangular panel and I can feel the seams on the back of my legs which I'm not a fan of. Also in the thigh area it is somewhat tight but everywhere else is very loose and slipping down. So I constantly have to pull them up but they are tighter in the thigh and end up sliding down again and bunching at my ankles. There is plenty of fabric in the top portion (I could be several sizes bigger and probably still be ok in this area) so the tights don't roll in the stomach area.I also had a problem where the seams in the crotch area started separating after a couple hours. This has happened with more than one pair. I use these for work and basically am only sitting at my desk. As I already mentioned, the top part (including the crotch area) is really big on me so I don't understand how the seams can be pulling apart so easily.The only good thing that I can say is that they are actually warm and opaque.

The legs fit great, but around the thighs, they we're really tight! And kind of loose around the stomach. I am a size 22, but I'm pretty proportioned, so I thought I was getting the right size for my body. Anyhow, it worked for what I was using them for, but I was uncomfortable all day and I live in leggings, stockings and body shapers, so I am familiar with "snug fitting clothes" and their normal comfort level.

They are a little see through, definitely not to be worn as pants, but VERY comfortable. Being heavier than I have ever been, I am tired of clothing that is too tight and uncomfortable. I feel good in these. they make me feel better, which makes me more active, which makes my life all over happier. Buy these tights. I am 5'5" and 185 lb and pear shaped.

I LOVE these!! I checked "Fit as expected" because I assume that most people wear tights that fit .. but I didn't EXPECT them to fit ME - when you're 6" tall, 280 pounds- tights and stockings never fit the way you want them too - but these are amaaaaaaaazing!! They are soft , thick and just great ! As soon as I finish typing this- I'm going to go order them in every color. :) :)

Although I wasn't sure what size to buy I went ahead and bought the 3x. It is a bit large on me. I am 5ft, 215lbs with short legs. I am really happy with how thick they are and how warm they keep me. They are completely opaque which is perfect. They were too long for me but were as expected.
