I got this as a mains powered more powerful version of similar technology USB powered cooler.The good:- it really does work, when cranked up to maximum a very obvious cold air is blasting at you up to say 4 feet away, so e.g. you can put at foot of bed and your whole body is chilled.- optional use of ice cubes helps. 700ml is about right for a few hours, certainly long enough to leave on while you get to sleep, the water runs out after a few hours but you've still got the fan cooling.- has timer so you can set for a few hours to auto turnoff so also good for falling askeep hot bedtime scenarios.Cons:- it is mains powered not like the USB smaller ones, so it's as flexible- the fan noise is low on the lower fan settings but on maximum it's loud. So at the hottest conditions you have to use noise-cancelling buds/headphones or put up with the noise- could have done with a slightly bigger tank but it's good-enough in truth.I recommend it.

Seems good on the most part but only one of the humidifiers must things works, wouldn’t buy just get a more high quality one

Really helps keep room cool, I’ve used with ice and without and works great. Quiet and remote functions work well.

I really like the size of the fan, it fits comfortably on my sons chest of drawers. In the summer the childrens room gets very hot and difficult for my little one to sleep. This purchase does exactly what it says on the tin. Keeps the room very cool. I like the timer element as I dont want the fan on all night. Different modes allows me to choose how cool I want the room and I especially like the remote as I am sometimes to lazy to get up. Overall I am very happy with this fan, great value for money.

I returned this item,If wanted just a fan I'd of got just a fan.This is supposed to be a cooling fan and it basically just sprays out a mist and and fan oscillates.I didn't find it very cool at all.It was very misleading as I read the 1st few reviews before I purchased only to later find out they weren't all for the fan but another product not related to fans at all.

Disappointed seeing others reviews bought it but it was small and noisier, the air wasnt as cool as they posted

The media could not be loaded. It is defective! So unhappy as I bought for my unwell partner to cool down the bedroom specifically buying this model for it's mist feature.

Received today, ahead of estimated delivery date.Appears sturdy, and good quality, whilst lightweight, with a compact pleasant looking design.I only put tap water in, without cooling it, and without ice.Once turned on, immediately cold air was emitted. And it is very quiet.I think it's going to be very efficient, and on hotter days, with ice added, just what I need.
