Starting Ozmo was a personal quest, losing family members to painful diseases; I pledged to live a healthy life very early on. The inspiration behind Ozmo was the realization about the importance of hydration and how everyone takes it for granted. After seeing the negative effects of dehydration, both me and my co-founder, Ming, decided that we want to spread knowledge about hydration and create a product that could help with this problem. Prior to starting Ozmo both me and Ming were working in a design house creating new and better products. Throughout my five years of experience in product development, I realized that most of product launch failure could have been avoided by getting the product right earlier on, or understanding the limit of the maker. Good once set up
Update: after using for a long period of time I am really unimpressed with it. It isn’t very good at telling the difference between coffee and water. The design is clunky and it can’t be washed very throughly because you can’t submerge it.Initial set up was frustrating- cup wouldn't stay synced to my phone (an iPhone 7) long enough to complete a firmware update. Took quite a long time to charge (about 3 hours). Once I did manage to get it to update- it worked great. Seems to record water & coffee pretty accurately and stay in sync with others the app. The app could do with updating a little.The cup design is ok but due to the matte plastic I can see it looking grubby quite quickly. Design isn't as nice as some competitors (but those are harder to get hold of in the UK currently).Giving it 4 stars as once past initial problems it does what it's supposed to.

Definitely worth taking seriously. Excellent product.
I like this product. It is well built and thoughtfully designed (physically). I’ve been using it for a week or so now and have had no problems with it. I’m also drinking lots - which is the reason I bought it. I’m genuinely responding to the reminders that it gives me to drink when they come up on my Apple Watch. It works! If I was going to suggest design improvements they would be as follows:- 1) Try to make it hold more water without increasing the overall size of the device. 2) Try to find a way of making it capable of buffering consumption data if the mothership is not in Bluetooth range when you drink. Apart from that - perfect. Mine is still showing 100% charge after a week of use.

Nice idea, shame about the smartphone app and it doesn't work properly with Garmin.
I bought the Ozmo Hydration Tracker because I was under the impression it would work with Garmin. My experience so far has been poor in that regard. The Ozmo Android app is buggy and doesn't sync properly with Garmin Connect. The result is that it very rarely pulls through activities or steps. In the past month, it has worked twice and I usually run 5 or 6 days a week.If you own a Garmin product I wouldn't recommend buying the Ozmo Hydration Tracker at this time.

Don't by the Ozmo Smart Water Bottle
This is a great idea. Just a shame it doesn't work. The app is next useless - very hard to sync and inaccurate. Also required a lot of permissions (Location? Contacts? really?). Not that it really mattered. The bottle lasted for about 5 hours before water started seeping out of the usb port and the bottle died completely. Since returned it. Very disappointed - it is, as I said, a great idea.

Not worth the money
The item arrived on time, liked what I saw but had trouble sinc-ing it with my Samsung S8 and now it wont charge and no lights come on. Found that there is water coming out through where the charger plugs in.

Waste of money
Stopped working with in an hour of use. I wouldn’t recommend this bottle to anyone. Email the manufacturer for support and got nothing back.

Simple yet useful
Ever since I started using it, I pay more attention to my water intake and it keeps me accountable throughout the day. However, the application needs some improvements, because when I don't use it for a while it's screen flashed during the sync and does not respond to any requests I make.

Not worth it
Not had it a week and already I’m ready for throwing it out the window . Day 1 -3 it worked great-ish but soon the app started to become buggy and closing down with 10seconds of me opening it! I’ve emailed Ozmo and messaged via Facebook 3 times with no response. I don’t recommend atall
