My missus uses this when straightening her hair and says it works very well.I also bought one and actually use when cutting pitta bread once it has been toasted - they get surprisingly hot! Works a treat and was a much cheaper alternative that a 'chefs heat glove'.

This item is great to stop you burning yourself the only thing I find when grabbing the section of hair it drags through the hair rather than smoothly it takes a bit of getting used too.

You still have to be cautious but it definitely provides a degree of protection from hot hair tools, very handy for using with chopstick wand.

Not sure what I was expecting, it's ok, but it is just like wearing a really thick glove, you can still feel the heat of the ghds through it, just it is just about tolerable now/ Be interesting if I am still using in 6 months time.

Really helps protect your hands from burns when using tongs, but don't hold your hand against the tong! The little nodules do help grip BUT can catch in the hair a little.

Perfect for protecting my hand when doing my Mum’s hair. Not too thick so easy to use. Very happy.
