S'well bottles are good quality- they are able to keep things cold / hot for quite a long time. I haven't really timed it, but I'll still have ice in my water even when this sits in the hot car all day. This bottle has a tapered shape at the top, which also makes it a little easier to hold than some. The screw on cap allows it to be used for hot beverages, and yes, it works for carbonated drinks too! The only downside with a screw on cap is making sure you don't lose it - not that big a deal, but that maybe less than ideal for a kid using the bottle. Even with the taper, you can still fit ice cubes in it. The boot on the bottom keeps it from being loud setting it down and keeps it from getting dented and scratched. Together they fit in my car cupholders, though sometimes the boot will come off when pulling it out. Being stainless, it is easy to clean and does not retain odors.

This bottle is triple insulated. I got the moss color which means it is distinctive enough no one will mistake the bottle for theirs.The ability to gulp down cold water rather than try to sip it is great - if it want to sip I’ll just use a cycling squeeze bottle. It’s also good for keeping cold drinks cold and hot water hot for long periods. Pouring in hot water from the kettle in the morning and pouring really hot water into my portable espresso maker means an espresso is that much quicker….The silicone bumper at the bottom makes less noise when putting down the bottle, is colored to match the bottle and stops it rattling in the cup holder in my SUV.

17 oz S'well bottle is a nice size to carry in a bag and cut down on single use bottles. The finish on it is good quality and helps with gripping the bottle. I like the bumper because it protects the bottom of the bottle and whatever surface your placing it on, especially if that surface is glass.Easy to open, easy to clean, doesn't make water taste funny. The coating on the bottle feels durable and the vacuum insulation keeps water cold for a long time. I use a 64oz bottle with ice while at home for water and whenever I have to go anywhere I fill this one up from that bottle and don't worry about putting ice in the 17 oz S'well, the already ice cold water stays cold for over 6 hours easily with no ice, enough for running errands or going to appointments.I've used a lot of metal drinking vessels and S'well is up there with the best.

Swell bottles are nothing new, but this one comes in trendy colors and has the same sleek silhouette that Swell bottles are known for. The silicone boot is easy to put on and take off, so it is a simple matter to keep everything clean.Most importantly, it keeps my water cold as long as I need it to (which isn't that long since the bottle is fairly small).The capacity of the bottle is smaller than I normally prefer but I knew what I was getting when I ordered. If you like the look and if you're okay with a small capacity, I recommend it.
