Worked great
I'm a new homeowner and needed to fix a large hole in the drywall in my bathroom created by moving a light switch. My electrician recommended this type of product to patch the old hole using the new drywall cut out. I watched some videos on YouTube to get a sense of how they worked before I tried it myself. Found it very easy with a drill --not as easy with just a screwdriver, though I have some weakness in my hands. Covered with mud and tape and it seems very strong, even if it doesn't look as good as it might if I knew how to mud well yet. Would recommend these, even to a novice like me.

Worked like a charm!
I admit that I was a little dubious when I received these drywall repair clips. However, if you follow the instructions, you can repair almost any drywall hole easily. The screws can be sunk just below the surface, and the clips disappear behind the drywall, for a quick and easy repair. I used to do the trick with a piece of furring strip screwed in behind the drywall, but this is much easier, and secures the patch on all sides. Good item!

Dummy proof drywall repair
The person who invented this product is a genius. it saves so much time when repairing drywall. no cutting wood measuring and all that to fix patches. the price is worth every penny. the metal is also great quality. Buy this product if you want to tackle drywall repair without hiring an expensive handyman.

Haven't had to use it yet but give it five stars because I like the design.
I can tell that this will work when I need it. Good thing to just have on hand especially if you have kids that might accidentally put a small hole in the wall.

Did not work as expected
Not sure if it was me or the product. Had difficulties breaking off the tabs and getting the screws to sink. Overall seemed to have potential but feel short for me. For reference, I would consider myself handy but not highly technical.

Easy to use by home owners or anyone needing to install drywall in a tight spot
I used these Dry Wall Repair clips to re-install sheet rock rectangles cut out by my plumber in a garage ceiling.I normally use scraps of wood for my dry wall repairs, but needed the Dry Wall Clips due to pipes that were installed too close to the sheet rock (not allowing for wooden strips). The Dry Wal clips were easy to install and did a great job.I opted to use one size larger dry wall screws because I was screwing into thicker drywall.Follow the directions on the package for installation. Some DIY videos on YouTube break off the tabs before installation making it hard to properly screw in the clips. If you have trouble screwing into the patch, grab the clip tab with a pair of pliers to pull the clip close to the sheet rock backing. Simple side to side rocking will cleanly break off the clip when you're done. Good luck with your repair!
