These things are nice for scraping automotive parts when required. These carbide scrapers are very expensive from the automotive machining suppliers but very reasonable here. They work great, very sharp, and the user should be careful scraping aluminum.

Handles are nice, strong. A little blemished on the backs, see photos.They work great. Used carefully on aluminum heads while installing intake manifold.

I've used this a few times. They work great as a team.I recommend them and keep them in my tool case with the important stuff.

If you don't have a scraper like this just get one. They work really good for head gaskets and whatnot

These scrapers are great - especially for the money. But... it took me two sets to get two straight carbide tips (one large and one small). In the first set, the small one was good, the larger one was ever so slightly bowed (pic 1 bowed one, pic 2 good one second set - anomalies seen in this pic were probably the flat machined surface I used). In the second set, the smaller one was slightly bowed. Understand, these will NOT work if there is a slight bow as they will scrape from both ends or the center (dependent on which side you use). Especially serious if scraping aluminum (as I was). Once I had two good ones (large & small), the others were sent back. Not happy having to wait for shipping of the second set and then needing to test them. Once I had a good large one, I scraped both engine block and aluminum intake manifold with these - dry with no chemicals. Worked perfect! Pic 3 aluminum manifold dry scraped down to original machine marks. I am happy that they do work MUCH better than standard scrapers. Just need better quality control.. Probably 5 stars if they get the quality control under...control.

Better then the Titan, less expensive than the Lisle set. Nice hard side handle scrapes clean and smooth. Worked for removing automotive gasket and RTV.
