These are lovely, I thought would have been a thicker board, so very flimsy and cheaply made, not worth the price but they do look lovely but should have been cheaper for how they are made. If they were cheaper my review would be different lovely item just cheaply made.

This pack of sensory mats follows through with an animal theme to make them appealing.Being quiet to play with/stroke/touch they're useful in the classroom for children who need a sensory activity. I intended to take the pack to the school I work at, but my 19 year old low-support-needs autistic son saw them and decided he'd like to keep two of them himself so he took the sequins, and the furry zebra one up to his gaming desk!The rest will go to school where I know some of the SEN children will appreciate them.A good set, but I agree with another reviewer that what's missing is some crinkle - the croc one isn't very stimulating and could be swapped out for something with a crinkle effect. My son had a baby blanket when he was young which had a crinkly corner and he loved it so much it wore out (less ideal for the classroom but would offer a greater variety).

This is a brilliant product. 6 different animal themed sensory mats for children of all ages and needs (not just autistic as suggested in the description). From my 5 month old to my 6 year old, they all enjoyed touching, stroking and discussing the different mats.I love that they are themed to each animal so well. The lion mat has very long hair which gave me the chills but didn't seem to bother the children!Sequins were the frim favourite and perhaps a mirror or noisy rustle effect could be a great addition.

These are nicely made animal themed sensory mats.The fish one is the most interactive of the six, but the current favourite is the zebra!Love that all the animals have a smile ☺

These mats are lovely! It is such a cute way for babies and children to explore different textures and learn about different animals at the same time. The mats are a good size, light, and not too big, perfect little children. Each texture is completely different, there are sequins to represent scales, wool for the sheep, hair for the lion's mane, leather like scales for the snake and striped fur for the zebra. Most have a lifelike feel to them which represent the animals well. However, I was slightly thrown with the soft, tentacle-like texture for the hedgehog! This one was far from what I expected for this animal. They feel high quality and durable, I think they will last us a long time!
