It's expensive but...
Why did you choose this product over others?:There's no getting away from the fact that this is expensive, however if you're looking for convenience and can afford the price tag then it's worth every penny. You only need to replace the bag a couple of times per week instead of scooping a regular tray multiple times per day. It also does a good job of keeping odours down as it removes the waste within minutes rather than sitting in the tray waiting for you to do it manually. You'll want to deep clean it every couple of weeks, but overall it's so much easier to live with than a normal litter tray. There were some issues with the app when I bought it in 2024 but they have since been resolved with app updates.

This is great
We have two cats, and previously had two huge, uncovered, clean litterboxes for our flat. One of our cats is extremely picky, so we had to scoop after every single poop, even if only one litterbox was used. This meant that, while we were at work, if either pooped in a litterbox, this cat would pee all over the floor 2 hours later because he was mad at his own single poop from 2 hours ago. This litterbox has changed our lives.I did a lot of research on self-cleaning litterboxes before buying this. I had a spreadsheet and am fairly confident I researched every single major brand and option on the market, so I felt confident about this one. It's safe to say I don't regret it.Both of our cats took to this day one with few issues. Our picky cat is very large (nearly 6kg) and we were concerned about the size, but he doesn't care at all and has no trouble using it. I was also concerned about the safety for our tiny, very curious cat (about 2.5kg), but this thing is brilliant. It stops the cleaning cycle the second she so much as glances at it, so she quickly loses interest and she's always safe. It has no trouble detecting her very tiny paws on the edge, not even in the box directly. This thing cleans well. It has handled diarrhea with no issues. Use a high quality, fast clumping litter (we've been using World's Best Cat Litter - cannot recommend it enough). It's not as good as I've seen others say at handling smells, so I recommend throwing in some bicarbonate into the waste collection tray to help.Addressing some issues I've seen:-Frequency of changing the collection bag: This is true. The collection tray does not hold as much as they claim. That being said, honestly cats don't want you to leave it for that long, and changing the waste collection bag once every 5ish days (for two cats, one of which pees a lot) is still way better than scooping poop by hand 3x/day. It's also a fairly painless process.-Set up: This is also true, the set up was a nightmare and to get it to work we had to not only split out our 2.4Hz and 5Hz signals, we had to change the name and password of the 2.4 so it didn't have any symbols. Annoying but ultimately a one-time bother.-Waste getting stuck to the inside of leaking through the gaps: Neither has ever happened to us, could be an issue of using low-quality litter. Also, they provide extreme high-quality, strong silicone tap as an extra preventative measure for the leaking, so definitely use them.-The cleaning cycle wastes too much litter: This is the complete opposite for us. We were shocked at how LITTLE it's been using, we've been going through way less than our manual scooping since we don't need to change it as often! I think this might also be an issue of using lower-quality litter.-App not tracking usage: We've never had this problem. We set up a camera for the first few days (I was nervous about the safety for our smaller cat), and not only did it record every single usage, it even recorded when they were just sniffing around for 10 seconds or so. The only problem I've noticed is that the weight sensor, while generally accurate, isn't perfect - it fluctuates up to 0.5kg every day. This isn't really a problem for us as our cats are about 3kg apart, so it can always tell who they are, but I'm not sure it would work that well if your cats are the same weight. But this is a feature I'm personally not too fussed about.-Not being able to look at your cat(s)'s bowel movements daily (for health monitoring) - I genuinely don't understand this one. Yes, there is a feature where you can seal the waste bag without looking at it, but just don't use that then? If you want to check on this, just open the waste tray daily and take a quick glance, you'll be able to see everything. Totally a non-issue, I promise.Overall, this is cheaper and safer than other models, and better for a cat evolutionarily than enclosed styles. We love it so far and can't recommend it enough.

Very good self cleaning cat litter box, but still rooms for improvement
I bought this open top one because our cat never uses any litter box with a ceiling, still it took a week or so with quite a bit of thinking to get her to use it because it’s higher than normal litter box. We started by raising the height of the existing litter box and place the new one alongside. After a few days, we started to put things into the existing one to make her uncomfortable and starting to think about using the one next to it. Once she started to use the new one, we got the old one completely covered and a few days late removed away. We were so pleased to eventually to make this a success.Overall the litter box works well. Oh get the record of your cat’s usage from the app. We have only one cat about six kg body weight, it uses the litter box 4 times a day, the litter box can run 4 to 5 days without the need of emptying the litter, who’s is quite good, particularly if you are away for a weekend break. The maximum we can manage is 5 days, then you will receive a message: your litter box is full, if you don’t do anything, you will get another alert saying the litter tray is upside down and can not be used anymore. However it will recover to its operational status after about 20 m. If you still can’t replace the litter bag after this point, I think you can switch it off remotely and using it as a normal letter box without self cleaning. I would prefer to see a larger version which last longer than a week or even two weeks for people with such a need.

Don’t bay it
The media could not be loaded. The robot was working well for 8 monts, and then the red light start blinking. It is not detected the litter in the tank is shows 0%. Sometimes the auto cleaning is working sometimes not. The robot is extremely expensive for working only 8 monts.
