It does the job.
As stated by other reviewers, this timer is a bit flimsy. The strain relief is to close to the terminals and the terminals are a little small. Also, the terminal block cover in/out holes are to small for 15amp cable and needed to be expanded with a file. All that aside, installation was easy and the timer does it's job perfectly. At £9.99 I'm not complaining. The timer it replaced cost £29.99, had similar sized terminals and similar cable in/out problems. It's case turned brown around the power light, was a pig to setup and finally stopped working. That's why I decided to try a cheap electro-mechanical switch this time. In my experience of domestic electrics, anything with electronic switching and LCD screens will fail. Anything with a motor and mechanical switch often keeps going forever.
