Great!
Brilliant set - bought for my Year 11s around GCSE revision time but COVID set in. Currently I have them at home in a drawer, but I have taken to colour coding whilst working from home and the colours are fab! Highly recommend.

Perfectly good highlighter
A highlighter is just a highlighter pen right? Wrong! I am comparing these with two others on my desk including the brand leader, Stabilo, which is high quality but lacks the pocket click that this one has. Probably not important for most people unless you work on the move and need to be able to pop that highlighter into your top pocket. These Swash highlighters produce a clean line, not smudge-proof as it is a water-based product. Even once dry the highlighting can be diluted or washed away if it gets wet unlike the line produced by the market leader. Depending on your application of this product that may be significant (field work eg).All highlighters in time tend to dry out and sometimes the wedge tip becomes frayed before then. Only time will tell how these perform over the long term. The Swäsh highlighter is a brand which is new to me, distributed by Eastpoint Global, a company specialising in teaching aids and educational resources, Despite the umlaut in the product name there is nothing to suggest this hails from Germany.Bought in bulk like this at £26.96 (at time of review) for 48, that works out at little more than 50p each which seems to be about right.

Pink overload!
Well, where do I start. To buy a pack of 48 pink highlighters you either have to be a teacher, stationery cupboard manager, or just a bit weird. I guess I fit into the last category. It's a lot of highlighters which becomes evident when you take the lid off the box and think "what have I done!".I've tested a few and they seem pretty standard in every way. The tip is a chisel tip, the colour is your standard boilerplate neon pink, the ink flows just fine, everything is as it should be.I like how they come in a fairly thick lidded cardboard box, but are also secure with the lid off, so if you are storing them, you don't have any issues with them falling around all over the place. No issues at all! Just a ton of pink highlighters in a box!

Effective box of single colour chisel tip highlighters
These are good, sturdy highlighters. At the time of writing, they work out at a little under 44p each. The highlighters have chunky, easy to hold barrels. The sides are smooth, but not slippery. The caps fit on the ends of the pens, when in use. They pens have integrated pocket clips built in to the lids, and the lids are made from a combination of clear and coloured plastic. The latter seemed something of a waste of engineering time, expertise and materials when used on a school/business sized pack, rather than individually sold pens aimed at buyers of cute stationery. To some extent, the same is true of the pocket clip. The clip isn't without utility, but better known brands don't include clips on their pens, and in an era when we know we should be cutting down on unnecessary plastic, these clips seem a bit of an anachronism. The chisel tips are effective for both broad and narrow stroke highlighting, and these work well on newly laser-printed documents (I got no smudging at all). I don't have access to an inkjet these days - but these can be more prone to smudging than laser.

A big pink thumbs up!
I love these highlighters. First of all they are great value - a box of 48 working out just over 50p. I’m a teacher so the ability to buy in bulk like this is ideal. There’s easily enough here for a whole class with plenty spare. The tip is your tradition highlighter tip where you can either get a thick or thin line. The lid is great with it’s clip that means I can carry one of these in my shirt pocket. The last highlighters I bought unfortunately didn’t have a clip on the lid which was a pain. The lid is nice and secure too - again in the past other brands have been a bit loose and don’t fit well while it’s open and in use. Overall I’m really impressed and can find nothing to fault in these and I’ll be considering purchasing some more boxes in the other colours. A big pink thumbs up!

Good quality highlighter with pocket clip, large pack of single colour
The only potential drawback with this set is that they’re all the same colour, so that they don’t support colour-coded highlighting. At present, for not much more, you can buy on Amazon a set of 48 Stabilo highlighters in eight different colours. Swash are currently available on Amazon only in one-colour packs (pink/yellow/green) – the mixed packs all show as “currently unavailable”, though they do offer a colour assortment of 50 mini highlighters. However, if all you want is straightforward highlighters, these are ideal, and the large pack saves money. The special feature is the pocket clip, useful if you’re out and about, on the train or whatever. As it says, the type of tip which allows you to do thick or thin lines – the latter useful if you want to underline, rather than highlight the text itself.A pack this large is only for industrial-scale use, most likely students or teachers.

In the pink
You can have any colour you like, as long as its pink (in this box anyway). Other single colour boxes are available. And it is the vibrant, almost glow in the dark intensity of pink you would want from a highlighter pen. The nib tapers into a fine point, but there is also a longer edge, so you can highlight with fine or thick lines. For what they are, can't fault them. I would want the maker to release a multi-colour set, though, if they haven't already. Presume they have, as highlighting in different colours if you want to bring out different things is pretty fundamental.
