Easy to assemble and put up.I’m not really sure how it would be as a coat rack. The plastic hooks might not be strong enough for heavy coats.

Seems stable so far and easy to assemble. Holds the weight of a relatively heavy coat and purse well. A little wobbly, but nothing bad. I think that's just due to the mechanism that keeps the pole pressure-mounted to the ceiling. Would recommend if you're looking for something a little unconventional and stylish.

I used this to hang all my trailing plants. It was very easy to put together and the clamps on the hooks seem to be pretty sturdy. It looks great as the start to my plant wall, can’t wait to add more. It fit my ceiling well, I like that you can take off or add in pole segments. Great value for price

The media could not be loaded. I have a teeny tiny bathroom. I do not have towel bars on the only wall available for them as my door wouldn’t open all the way if I did.This pressurized “miracle” has answered my prayers. Enough adjustable hooks to hold my robe, 2 towels, 2 hair dryers, 2 curling irons and my hair drying twisty!

Poor instructions. Had to assemble twice to make sure I git it right. Wobbled no matter what I did. First time I hung a heavy coat on it the hook broke. Thinking it was a fluke, I tried again - and the second hook snapped as well. Return in progress less than 24 hours after receipt.

I'm using it currently in my apartment going to be moving to 10 ft ceilings that has the extension so it will work either place I love how you can stick it in the corner out of the way.I put belts purses and ball caps on it great products! Nice and sturdy!

This coat rack was so easy to put together. I really like that you can put the coat/hat hangers where you want them. This rack is adjustable and will fit about any height ceiling.

I couldn't find a solution to organize my hats and beaded necklaces. I kept thinking how perfect the tension pole living room shelves of my childhood apartment home would be- floor to ceiling height and no need to anchor to walls for install, still sturdy. There are on-line options but to be honest I didn't have the wall space for the width of the shelves. I guess the algorithms read my mind because this item came up on my amazon page. I purchased it without thinking twice.It came in a small box and required assembly. The materials used are light weight and hooks are plastic clip pieces that can be shifted. The instructions were direct but to be honest I still had to figure it out. The height of my ceilings meant I had to eliminate a piece or two but once installed the tension created made the pole sturdy enough to hold my hats and necklaces.Overall this item works and it perfect for a closet or bedroom corner.
