Pennine Walker Mens Wool Mix LONG Boot Socks Grey Cream

I'm female with a 6 1/2 shoe size and these men's socks fit me well.In the past, wearing short socks with jeans on winter walks tended to leave my lower legs a bit cold. These solve the problem beautifully.I wear them with liner socks inside on walks, and also wear them inside the house with slippers to keep my legs warm.They are well-made and have a very attractive pattern. They look good when worn with trousers tucked in too, and stop draughts getting in :-)Bought one pair in July 2014, and like them so much that I've just ordered two more pairs.Would highly recommend to others.UPDATE (5/8/15) One word of warning. Do not wash these in a washing machine or by hand along with any other items of clothing. Especially when new, once in water, they shed excess hairs more generously than a moulting dog! These then end up covering anything else by the end of the wash cycle. To be washed on their own then, but still great socks, so no stars off for this slight inconvenience!

Turned down on top of wellies but still rode down my legs, warm as toast but still annoying by not staying up
