Works Perfectly with Alexa. Read for Alexa Setup.
I've tried MANY temperature sensors, and this one is my favorite. Because it's a Zigbee device, and not Wi-Fi, connectivity is reliable and has great range. It pairs instantly with Alexa devices that have a built in Zigbee hub. Alexa devices with Zigbee include:Echo 4th generationEcho PlusEcho Show 10 (all models except 1st generation)Other than the Alexa app, you do not need any app to support this device, but setup in Alexa is cumbersome if you're not familiar with it. To complete the setup in Alexa (Screen shots shown in images),1) Open Alexa and select "More"2) Select "Routines"3) Select "Home Automation"4) In Home Automation, select the plus sign (+) to add a routine.5) Build a routine to alert when cold6) Build a routine to alert when hotThe packaged app (eWelink) is lousy, borderline useless, but you can use Alexa or Google instead. The temperature is accurate, mounting hardware is both magnetic and adhesive, battery life (4 years) is unmatched, pairing is simple and reliable, connectivity range is great, and overall hardware quality is fantastic.Great for kennels, coops, freezers, or any area.

Easy to join to home assistant, looking forward to years between battery changes
Setup: 5/5I have many smart sensors throughout my home across a variety of technologies - WiFi, ZWave, and Zigbee. This device is one of the easiest, fastest, most user-friendly devices I’ve come across. It was literally pull-tab, discover on home assistant zigbee hub. While many devices claim this ease, few truly deliver it.Functionality: 5/5Delivers the measures it claims and does so reasonably accurately.Overall: 5/5Bought 2 originally, have already come back for 3 more. Looking forward to a long battery life so I don’t have to change these every 8-14 months like most other sensors.

Ditto: I should have listened to the reviews
Key Takeaway: There are a plethora of better Zigbee sensors available made by other manf's that work well, don't buy this one.Initial setup was a breeze, but it was downhill from there. It does not stay connected, instead it goes offline every other day. I'm sure many reading this will think, "connectivity issues are an installation issue, don't blame the product", but continue to read other buyer's reviews and you'll change your mind, or you should. In addition to the device dropping offline every other day, it just died one week after the return period.I'm not going to get into the details of my setup to demonstrate my installation isn't the issue, or to eatablish that I know what I'm talking about. Just take my word and everyone else's that you should not purchase this product.NOTE - This Sonoff sensor's # of negative reviews = its # of positive reviews...wish I'd have noticed that detail before I hastily bought this device.

Works great once you figure out it quarks.
I wish I could give it five stars, but I did have some issues with it. One, it would not pair with their app, so I gave up. And tried adding it to Home Assistant and it connected within seconds. I do have a Sonoff USB Zigbee 3.0 gateway. But I think that wasn't why. I'm sure another brand of Zigbee 3.0 gateway would of worked fine too. Or I could of used the Zigbee2MQTT would of worked too. But, when I got it working in HA, it wouldn't refresh either humidity or temperature. I almost sent it back, but found a forum post saying that you should delete the device and then re-add it back in. I did that and now it is working for now, at least I know how to fix it. Oh and BTW, if you need the instructions, break out the magnifying glass. They need to just add a card with a URL or QR code to the manual, because in it's unreadable.

This is the one to get
Using this to control my humidifier and let me know that it needs refilling. No depending on the internet or alexa. Yes, i did have to wire into the main fan line for the switch

SONOFF SNZB-02P
This review is for the Sonoff SNZB-02P temperature and humidity sensor. Sensor paired easily with my Samsung SmartThings Hub refrigerator (dongle installed). Temperature and humidity are spot on with my thermostat.I currently use this with a zigbee switch that turns on an air vent when humidity gets too high. Works great so far.
