A2 size is pretty bloody big so a word of caution, make sure your desk or whatever you use this mat on is big enough.£7.95 is dirt cheap for an A2 cutting mat and worth every penny.It seems to be good quality for the price and It arrived perfectly flat, not rolled up or folded it also arrived quickly but had one small ding (about an inch) on one edge due to being shipped in just a large plastic bag but I can live with that.I'm actually pretty chuffed with my mat having never owned one in my life before.I've built many model kits and cut loads of stuff up over the years without one. However, I thought I'd get one now for some reason.So in summary, if you're after a new cutting mat you could do a lot worse than this mat.Don't be put off by the price as its plenty big enough for a desk or the floor if you prefer, its also thick enough too.3mm doesn't sound very thick but I think you'd be pleasantly surprised by the quality, size and thickness.

My A2 mat arrived in a plastic envelope, totally flat and thankfully undamaged in transit. It sturdy, comprising a green layer either side of a central solid white layer, and weighs 1.38 kg. At 45 cm x 60 cm it's actually 3 cm wider than A2 which is fine by me! It has a centimetre grid one side and inches the other, which could be useful. Both grids are about 0.17% short (ie. 1 mm over the 600 mm mat length) which, for a rubber mat, is fine - it isn't a precision measuring tool, after all. Cuts made with a sharp craft knife seem to 'heal' okay. All in all, very pleased - amazing value.

I certainly like using this cutting mat for cutting fabric with a rotary cutter. I've had it a few months and it seems robust enough and fit for purpose.The A2 size is a good size.I store this mat flat, as it doesn't like being stood on it's edge, it is quite a weighty and pliable object.

I've only used this a short time but I've been impressed. It was delivered flat so i could start using it straight away. It has cm measurements on one side and inches on the other in clear writing / lines so very easy to use. I'm glad I bought A2 size rather than A3.

Using one side for 45 degree cuts & the other for normal craftwork. A2 size is nice to work on. The matt us holding out well. Hopefully lots more mileage yet. At least 200 45 degree cuts in surface on one side.

I bought 2 of these as the company doing the A1 size could no longer supply. Fits my workbench, and protects the surface to make it last longer. Great for small craft projects.
