Oxford Products Docking Station Ultimate Ground/Wall Anchor Multicoloured

This is an excellent wall anchor, heavy, strong and very robust. The only reason I have gave it 4/5 is not for the product itself, but for the fact, it came in a jiffy bag, (seller was Ghostbikes.com) not the box as advertised, although the jiffy bag was in another padded cardboard box, no installation instructions regarding what size drill to use, or how to open it, and also I was missing the allen key to tighten the nuts, luckily I have a set. I copied the advertising pic of the product onto my computer, and then turned it upside down and zoomed in to read the instructions on the side of the box! Thanks to the 2 reviewers below me, and contacting Oxford themselves in Florida via a phone call, I got an e-mail with an installation.pdf which made it a bit easier to install properly.It took around an hour to install into the brickwork of the house, I used a 12mm masonry drill to drill a pilot hole to 5mm, and then a 16mm drill to drill the main hole, then it was just a case of lining it up and screwing it to the wall. I positioned it low down, around 3 bricks high, with the keyhole facing down to prevent water entering and to make it just that wee trickier for any thieves.If anyone buying this and needs the installation pdf, contact me and I'll send it to you.So Ghostbikes, get your act together and send everything as advertised, and then this product will definitely get 5 stars!(Or buy from a different seller than ghostbikes)

The four bolts are large so you will need a very good drill and bit to make the holesOnce fitted it looks good and works well.The sliding bolt makes the use of different cables an easy option.I have one fitted to the front of my house and use it with a large Oxford chain for the motorbike or just a thin wire type chain for the kids bikes.It takes any worry away from visitiors leaving property in view of the road.Ideal for motorbikes, pushbikes, trailers, ladders.Fit and forget. Would probably work as a ground anchor too.

I did a lot of research into an anchor, and decided to go for this one. I'm really pleased I did, as it is an impressive object. It's heavy, well constructed, and really solid. The keyhole cover is also very good and completely weatherproof: I mounted mine upside down on a wall for easy access and therefore the keyhole is pointing up, and I've had no trouble at all. I'm very confident that my bike won't be going anywhere without a lot of effort! Top product.
