Planting Gardens in Graves

I loved his poetry so I ordered this book. The first page it fell open too was politically motivated and was a sharp slap in the face for a hardworking public servant. I was looking for poetry filled with inspiration and to explore the wounds women have from broken relationships. Instead I got demeaned and made a monster.

Wow. Just wow to the final piece in this book. It is such a resonating piece and an utterly perfect way to close the book.

Sin’s words are beautiful, personal, and relatable. Many of his poems are written for women, but in this book, he adds some poems that have to do with his personal experiences and emotions.

I love this book! It has helped realize things that I myself haven’t really thought about. It brings a whole new apporch to self love for myself. I can’t wait to pass this book on to a friend!
