Great idea if you don't have a storm door.
I really wanted to get my ring doorbell in use again. I didn't want to try to drill into my brick siding, so I thought this would be a great alternative. Sadly, the idea didn't work. The product worked fine, but it doesn't extend past the edge of my storm door to view through the window. It needed to extend another 3-4 inches toward the middle of the door in order to get that clear view.

Screw too big for bracket
The hole for the mounting screw wasn’t quite big enough to get the screw thru - returned. Hope the next one works. Otherwise I think it will work. I don’t want to put holes in my metal door
