Caring for my mom with Alzheimer's stage 5 full-time. Her appetite has become unpredictable. My suspicion of why she's refusing to eat or chew any meat came up in the hospital. She wouldn't open her mouth for me, by I'd ask her nurse and upon removing her dentures, her mouth have sores. It must've been painful. She's also having difficulty in swallowing her meds.This helps get her protein in her system when she refuses to eat. She likes it. She likes eating this especially after taking her meds. Since it's cold, it cools her mouth and throat. I'm going to order my 2nd batch. On top of this, I've found a flavorless protein powder to mix with her favorite ice cream as a shake. Don't know how long I have with her, but I'll do my best to hopefully keep her current weight and give her this jello to enjoy until she no longer can swallow. Thank you so much for making this.

Horrible product! Completely open inside the box. What a mess! And no way to get a refund! SO disappointed. Packaged in BAGGIES! NOTHING to keep the containers from rattling around!

This product was given to me in the hospital and I really like the taste and texture of the gelatin. It has helped with my recovery at home and I like the flavor along with the 20g of protein.

This product was literally hard to eat and swallow. Gag reflexes were strong with this one.. I liked that I’m able to get in my protein intake for the day after four of these but the consistency of these jellos were not what I expected. The thickness of it was similar to the cream inside of a Boston creme donut (thicker than that) a bit more on the “harder side” than the regular sugar free jello.. super sweet though I guess that’s to cover the after taste(there’s a bit of an after taste to it)Would I recommend them? I would if you just want to get those protein grams in when you’re craving something sweet... are they worth the price? No, I think they could be a little cheaper.

I feel like jello aught to be a great medium for protein, but maybe they should have used a better protein source.

I know that when you are recovering and are on a restricted diet, some foods are difficult to tolerate. I could not stomach these at all. The consistency was horrible, and the flavor was like eating an orange dipped in chemicals. I tried to eat them cold, at room temp and even frozen.

Sick of protein shakes and appreciate another option to supplement protein.

Ok so I used a few of these before and during my colon prep bc they are approved for use in clear diets. I got an "excellent" cleanse grade by the GI so it must be so. Anyway, it's weird. Off putting weird the way it slimey sludges and dissolves in your mouth. If you're picky about textures, or don't think you'd enjoy eating snails, you may want to pass on this product. But it didn't taste bad and was very helpful to keep me with energy during the cleanse.
