If you want a touch of class added to your rooms design, look no further!
If you are looking for an affordable, elegant touch to add to your design, LOOK NO MORE!! i researched the reviews before purchasing and although there were a lot of great reviews, I focused on why the negative reviews were submitted. I scanned the pics that were uploaded and decided to take a chance without being able to see or touch them in person and it paid off. I would recommend these to anyone trying to add the class! They have great weight and it's true to color. They are not completely black out but they do the job for a light sleeper like myself. Prompt delivery and professional packaging. Worth every penny, these completed my room all I need to find are some nice house plants!

Poor quality, different lengths and colors
I had to return the first ones and have Amazon send new ones. As you can see from the photo they were two different colors. I’m not sure if it’s the way the velvet lays or what but the one on the right was significantly lighter than the one on the left no matter the lighting. Now the new ones look ombré being a bit darker at the top and lighter at the bottom again maybe it’s the way the velvet lays? I like the look but it’s not a solid dark gray as the pictures show. Amazon’s return process is seamless; I selected return on my app and they sent out news ones a couple days later. They even let me wait to get the new ones before I returned the mismatched ones so my sliding glass door didn’t have to go without curtains! Such a breeze return policy otherwise this could have been very cumbersome.Update:Returning the 2nd package I received since one panel drags on the floor and the other is a half inch above the floor??

Luxury look on a Budget
These curtains are terrific. I am very picky and had debated between window shutters ($3500), installed window blinds ($1500), Restoration Hardware luxury velvet curtains ($1000), or finally, because my mother sent an Amazon link to me, these ($80). I bought two sets of 63 inch curtains for the windows and one set of 84 inch curtains for the double door in that room. They ended up being perfect. They block out the light (unfortunately we slept until 11 today, so they work REALLY well), they look luxurious, they are perfectly made, and they are incredibly inexpensive. After looking all winter in preparation of daylight savings time, I bought these about a week ago - right when the time changed over, and I am confident I couldn't have chosen better. From a very discriminating customer, do yourself a favor and purchase these curtains.

Look nice, insulate well
These curtains are a beautiful dark chocolate color, have a velvety texture and appear to be well-made. I bought them to help block the cold from a sliding glass door. With my old curtains, you could feel the chill when you got near the door and even the floor by the door was cold. We've had a few below zero days since I got these so I feel like I've had a good test of the thermal quality. There is a notable temperature difference by the door. I've tested it with the curtains open and closed and I'm certain the extra warmth is from the curtains. The floors no longer feel as cold when the curtains are closed. I didn't buy these for room darkening, but I find they do just that. I wouldn't call them blackout curtains, but the room is quite a bit darker now that I have these curtains.

Each panel set is cut and made of different material.
I bought two sets at the same time... so they would match. When I got them and put them up... they were two completely different panels. One set was thick buttery velvet which was cut and sewn in the correct direction of the material and the other set was thin lighter and a very different appearance than the other. I am returning the cheap looking set. The question is... do I order another and hope that I get the "right" one? What do you think?

Definitely not Navy Blue
I am amazed at how nice these look and feel! My husband and mom thought velvet curtains would look tacky but they are really nice material not shiny cheap velvet at all. My ONLY complaint is they are definitely not navy blue they are lighter almost cobalt? Luckily they still went with the decor I had but I would have liked them darker in color. I tried to see how much light they blocked even though that’s not the purpose I got them for and they work well! Without window shade shut in the brightest part of the day it was pretty dark when I put shades down it was pitch black in my room so they do their job! I attached pictures of them open with just curtains shut and shade and curtains shut. There’s only light because I left my door open for picture

The navy is gorgeous! Good light-blocking properties too.
These were the most opaque of the unlined room-darkening curtains I've purchased and tested out - so they are the ones I kept! I searched forever for navy velvet curtains online, and these were the only ones whose color I really liked. They're the color of the night sky in the early evening, when it's still blue: rich and vibrant, but more understated than royal blue. The only complaint I have is an odd one: they're not velvety enough. The pile of the velvet is too short to really produce the luster and plushness that you expect from velvet - so they end up looking a bit more suede-like than lush and velvety.

Decent curtains, but not blackout
These are pretty good curtains, but I wouldn't call them "blackout" curtains. They are one single layer, so light still gets through and so does sound. It's still a good curtain for the bargain rate, but i think the claim that they blog light and sound is a bit far-fetched.

Not as described
These are not blackout. The colour is also not a true navy. They quality is also not great, very thin, but looks okay when up. Due to them being not the right colour I will be returning them.
