I absolutely love this curl bar—it’s become a go-to piece in my home gym setup. For the price, this thing is amazing. I don't think a more expensive version of this bar, would be any better. I was surprised how nice it was. I considered getting just like a normal straight bar, but this thing is much better. I use it with bands, but you could also attach it to a cable machine. It has a soft rubber grip, and a nice weight to the bar, which kinda surprised me. With as many different grips options you have, it's kinda like having multiple bars. Works great for many exercises, especially biceps. Get this, a set of workout bands that comes with the handles, and door attachment. Then buy a door attachment with multiple height anchor points, and you can definitely get some gains. You can get all that under $100 if you just look for decent deals.

Good addition to home gym
I bought this to replace another bar when a swivel's bearing ring literally fell apartI have been using this bar three times a week for over two weeks. It is solid and has a good heft to it. There are links at the end and one in the middle so you can vary where to hook up your resistance bar. the padding is good without being 'squishy.'
