With this purchased, was the closest thing I could get to the best one ever that I had that’s not been made now for years, sadly. I had left it in my backseat all year round and one summer it flew out the window without me realizing what I actually heard—I believe. Anyway, I prefer the magnets in these as they work best and never damaged my car like I think I had read…anyway, this is truly the best material, hands down, it’s light, it fits securely, and functions very well. I hope I can find it again if I ever loose this one!

It covered the windshield from the roof down to almost the very bottom of the window. Despite being light weight, it stayed in place and no snow got under it. It mainly stayed in place due to the flaps that are shut inside the 2 front doors. The side view mirror covers worked fairly well but as my mirrors turn in when locked, that caused it to pull away from the bottom of the windshield. The most disappointing part was the ties that hook onto the front wheels. I got one side on and when putting on the other side, the first one ripped off the hook. It was not overly tight and should have held, had it been sewn in better it would have held, there should be fabric stitching on both sides to keep these attached to the cover. I didn't need it in the last storm but had it been windy, I think having both hooks attached would have been necessary to keep it in place. Still 4 stars because of the coverage area, especially at the top. I have a mid size SUV but on the larger side of mid.

I bought 2 of these for myself and my daughter's car as she's pregnant. The cover I'm using for my car (2012 Nissan Rogue) is fantastic, it covers the windshield and the wipers as well which helps tremendously, but the one that's being used for my daughter's car is missing the hook for the bottom of the cover. I went ahead and just tucked it into the door. It didn't cover the whole windshield like mine did, but it was passable. also, it was windy during the last storm so it was kinda tough to keep the side view mirror covers on. Might a suggest something like a drawstring on it to make sure the covers don't come off?

This works perfectly. So far keeping both snow and frost off the windshield and side mirrors. Easy to install. I read about people being confused about the two style of clips. One set clips inside the car the hooks I pull down and hook on the hubcaps to keep everything in place. Easy to use!!!

The material is amazingly thin and flimsy. It needed to be closed inside the doors, a strap clicked together inside the car, and two straps to lock in to the wheels. Plus coverings for the rear view mirrors. Used it just a couple of days before I donated it to Green Drop because it was worthless to me and returning it was too much effort.My original windscreen, from LL Bean, that I got 15 years ago is a superior product because it's a thicker, stronger material and all you need to do is close it inside the door. Thin metal weights keep it from being pulled out of the door. Simple and effective... the complete opposite of the ZACAR cover

I live in one of the snowiest capital cities of the world (Ottawa, Canada) and there is nothing worse than coming out every other morning and having to clear a few inches of snow off the front of my SUV. This windshield protector solves that problem. This one, in particular is excellent. I bought a less expensive one last year and it barely lasted the winter, but I am loving this one. Good quality materials, excellent design. The only thing that would make it better would be a couple of magnets along the top and bottom edges to hold the cover firmly in place...

One of the straps that hold the cover inside the car got ripped the first time I tried it and I had to sow it back on. All 4 straps are sown in a flimsy way and need reinforcement.

This cover is nice and light weight but it does not like to stay on the side mirrors. It also has straps to hold it down and one has already broke. Shipping was great. I probably would look for a heavier weighted cover the next time I purchase one, but for the price it’s not bad

I would order another one so convenient and works well.

Great product! Sad to say I had to return this return it. It did not fit my husband’s avalanche truck! 😞

I've use for few months. It's good, light weight, also can protect leaves into my car. But I have one suggestion. When everytime I install it, it is difficult to tell the left and right side. So, if the product designer can make the two covers for the rearview mirror with different colors or add different logos for left and right, that will be wonderful to help us install it much easier.

I purchased the extra large model for my GM pickup truck. After taking measurements on my truck, the extra large model (96”x57” – 244cmx145cm) has more overlap than the smaller version would have. No regrets getting the larger model. I have used it many times this winter in the following situations: 1) light snow; 2) heavy snow; 3) melting/wet snow; 4) freezing rain. It works really well for Alberta/Canadian winters. There have been comments from other customers about the material being flimsy but I find it is light but very durable. The mirror covers are not only practical for keeping the mirrors frost free (not an issue since I have mirror defrosters) but they help in keeping it secure while installing it. The other strap to attach to the wheels is also a good feature for securing it to the vehicle. The interior strap with its clasp secures the upper portion of the material. On a few occasions, when it is windy out, I loop the interior strap into the truck’s steering wheel to make the strap more taut. Once you have installed a couple of times, it only takes a few minutes to install even in windy weather. All of the straps are elasticized. There was one instance where the wet snow was melting on the windshield and I put the cover on. Overnight it froze to the windshield but after gently peeling it off – the material retained its integrity. The main features I like about the windshield cover are: 1) heavy snow does not collect around the wiper blades nor in the vehicle’s gap between the hood and the windshield. It is easily wiped away before removing the cover. In other words, the material overlaps the hood by at least 30cm (12 inches); 2) because of the extra overlap on the roof, snow will not slide underneath the cover with windy weather, wet snow or freezing rain; 3) the 3 methods of holding down the cover (i.e. inside strap, mirror covers, wheel straps; 4) since the cover is black, the sun will melt any light snow or rain on the outside and under the cover. Words of advice when installing 1) install the upwind side first if there is a string wind; 2) when closing the vehicle doors, close them slowly so that the air pressure does not push the cover outward and therefore it won’t be as taut as you would like. One thing I would like to see as an improvement to the product is to have a second interior strap on the lower part of the cover’s flaps. This would keep not only the top flap taut but also the bottom flap taut – this would make the product even easier to install in stiff winds as well as for normal installations.Update as of 2021-11-12 - This product, after 3 years is standing up well and is still effective in helping me avoid scraping the frost and snow from my windshield which saves me a lot of time and effort. It literally takes 3 minutes to install.

Absolutely love this product. Easy to install. The metal piece that goes on the wheel on the passenger side I accidentally caught in the door once so I have to thread it thru the rim but it still works. More an issue on my part of catching it in the door. Not waterproof so if it happens to rain and then freeze it can get stuck to the windshield/there will be ice on the windshield but the cover still comes off with no issue. I would highly recommend this product.
