I so love this beautiful dress! I am normally a size 4 or 6 dress size at 5’6 and 119 pounds. I ordered a medium but it was way too small so I ordered a large and it was way too big. I took the large to a local seamstress and paid an extra $60 to have it taken in. The arm holes were gaping and the waist was so loose all around. Now it fits me perfectly and I feel gorgeous in this dress. The name of it implies it is a costume, but I will wear it out to dinner, to a club, to a cocktail party and feel elegant.

Thin fabric and no zipper or buttons

I ordered a size medium (I’m 5’6”, 140 lbs), but it wouldn’t even zip up! I can wear small in certain brands, but am usually a medium in most. However, I don’t even know if a large would fit the way this dress is made. I really did like the print (it’s really short fyi), but I had to return it. I didn’t want to chance reordering a different size since it was for a vacation that already passed.

I loved the print, the material, and the length and fit….everywhere but the chest. I’m 5’1” about 125lbs, bought the large cause I’ve bought these before and know how they fit, everything was perfect except for the bust and there is not enough material left to alter it, which makes me so sad. It’s beautiful but I don’t think anything bigger than a B is going to fit. I’m a large C/small D and I couldn’t even try to wear a bra with it, wouldn’t zip, lost the bra, it zipped, but I got them mammogram pancakes now….

I’ve always loved wearing Qipao. However since having my two children, my figurine just isn’t suitable for traditional Qipao.For those reviews about qipao being small and very tight arm width, that’s how qipao is designed. It’s target for small figured and petite women (B cups). Woman with large chest (D cup and above) might not be able to wear this. If you do, definitely try to go up a couple of sizes.With that said, I did go up a size for myself. I really like the material used inside. It’s nice and soft. The design and the attention to detail is really nice. The extra embroidery on the edge of the dress made it look higher quality than few that I have purchased before. For the price that I paid, this is an excellent and great value buy that I highly recommend. Looking forward to getting another from this seller next year.

Hello! I would like to be the first to say to pick your size according to the size chart!I viewed the previous reviews, where most stated to size up because the size chart was innaccurate and boy was I wrong to do that. I believe you should pick your usual size, and I’m normally an XXS-S or US size 00-2- but I picked a medium in this case, in fear that it wouldn’t fit me if I picked a small.I do have to return this size, because it’s simply too big on my body and cheongsam/qipao’s are meant to be tight on your body- not loose. I will leave a review once I receive the new one (size S). For reference, I’m 32C-23.5-31 and the medium was too big as seen on the picture, I sincerely hope that the small will be fit better.
