A whole new perspective
I recently had the opportunity to get my hands on a Meike Sony E to Nikon Z Mount and a Meike a 7.5mm F2.5 crop sensor Fisheye lens. I didn’t have my hands on both for very long but I did get to click a few frames in the studio and I was impressed with the setup. So I grabbed a few quick shots in my back yard so I could share my thoughts with you.Meike ETZ Mount Adapter – This is an extremely slim adapter mount as you can see from the images attached, it weighs a mere few grams. It allows you to use Sony E Mount lenses on your Nikon Mirrorless (Z Mount). There are many of these out there for sale already, so what makes this different? Firstly, how slim it is, and more importantly, it supports Auto-Focus. That feels like a game changer. I was able to borrow a native E Mount Sony lens and it does indeed auto focus. Most of the options in camera menu are also available (i.e. vibration reduction, AF-S\AF-C\MF focus mode etc.) I have the most current firmware release on the camera, and the adapter was also already updated to the current version, I suggest yours are updated too if you have any issues. There is a USB-C jack on the side of the cover. A clever design to keep the mount slim. Focus it pretty fast and accurate with my testing in the studio, there were just a couple of misses, but that is because of the ambient light and that the model’s eye were hidden behind a mask. I like this mount, and love how it will open up the possibility of being able to buy Sony lenses or Nikon lenses for use with my camera interchangeably.Meike 7.5mm Fisheye lens – After playing with the fully automatic Sony Lens, I used a manual focus lens fish eye from the same brand to continue my testing of the adapter, so I figured I would add a short review of it too. This is a very compact lens, and very light. It feels well made and the lens is multi coated as seen in the images attached. Since it is a manual lens, it does have an aperture ring to stop it down manually, the focus ring is smooth also. My camera did not detect this was a crop lens, likely due to the adapter, so I manually changed the settings. In Full frame you can see the hood in the images, which makes for a cool circular framed image, but in Crop mode, it is not visible at all. Overall the colors I got from this lens were good and they do not need me to change my workflow, it is also sharp where focused in F2.8 with the edges getting softer, as expected in a lens of this focal length. I think I can get some interesting compositions with a lens like this, I am now looking to possibly get one for my camera.

My go to lens for my panorama photography
The media could not be loaded. I’m a panorama photographer, most of the time, I’m using the Canon EF8-15 fisheyes for my work, till Meike released 7.5mm, I got the copy, here is my opinion1. Native canon RF mount, make the setup light and compact2. Even the lens is Manuel focusing, but most of the shot beyond 3ft, supposed be infinite3. Very inexpensive affordable price, entire Panorama setup less than $1000 USD, it included camera body, lens, tripod etc.Highly recommended for this lens

The best Fisheye lens thus far
This is not the first fisheye lens from Meike but definitely the sexiest one. The first thing you will get to notice is how well the lens is constructed. Visually, it’s a very compact fisheye lens, not as compact as a pancake lens but still compact. Unfortunately, like other Fisheye lenses, it is not possible to place a filter in front of the protruding lens. Oh yes, it comes with a built-in lens hood like most other fisheye lenses do too. From my first impression, I am surprised by how sharp and contrasting it is at wide-open. And it is consistent at all focus ranges. However, the corners of the shots can be a little soft if ever one wonders. The fall-off between the subject and the foreground/background is smooth and blends quite well.Although it has very mild vignetting, it also has good chromatic aberration control. I think I can ignore about doing post-processing because it is unnoticeable unless you are looking for it intentionally. With this focal length, it makes suitable for landscapes, cityscapes, and astrography. But I believe creative minds and photographers who want to explore the beauty of the fisheye lens are welcome. If you ask me if there is any particular genre that is good with this lens, my answer to you is that I think it can suit almost every genre. As long as you know what you are looking for.

Beautiful!
This lens is very sharp and I love the semi-fisheye effect. A bit difficult to focus, but that's just the nature of an extremely wide lens. I highly recommend it!

Solid lens
It was weird at first getting used to the manual focus but I have had a ton of fun with it on my Fuji. Obviously being a fisheye it’s wide but didn’t expect what I got. I’ve already had people asking for shoots and wanting one of their own. Worth it.

Best quality of made
The picture quality is good enough compared with its low price. I REALLY like its fit with fuji camera and the quality of materials. If you think about buying third party fisheye lens for Fuji, don't think compare with ttartisan, 7artisan, so on. Meike is the answer and strongly recommend.

Superb Value - Surprisingly Good Low-Cost Lens
Considering the very, very low cost of this lens, I was astonished by the image quality. This being one of the few fish-eye lenses available in the Fujifilm X-Mount, I was a bit hesitant at first. Turns out it is very well made, all-metal body, superb glass for the price. On the downside there is substancial vignetting, but this is to be expected from any fish-eye lens. At this price point any other criticism would be nit-picking.

On cannon R6 mark2
As a beginner I wanted to have a wide angle lens for my canon. The built quality is good, easy to use as all manual. Great during daylight but in low light it's not sharp. to work on canon R6 require to do some settings.
