Disappointed with supplier! Although the item is superb
It was faulty - a scratch on the metal and a bubble in one of the painted 'feathers'. No problem in returning though.However, I had to buy from John Lewis and use their 'Click & Collect' service so I could to check it was perfect as it was a gift and I couldn't chance another faulty on.It is a beautiful design and a work of art!

Parrot wine
Wish it was a bit easier for me to find this in my local store I love the brand and I wanted to make sure that I sent my friend in San Fran the perfect gift for Christmas. Inspected the item before I sent it off and I can’t say that is of a good quality paint work is very very well done.

Broke after only a month of light use
Very attractive product and looked well made on arrival... I am gutted that it has now broken after only 1 month of very light usage. I wouldn't usually post a negative review without talking with the company to try and resolve the issue however AMAZON now wont let me return or complain about this product and I cannot seem to contact the supplier directly to get a response. I am hoping that the seller will reply to my review with a suitable solution so I can update this review with hopefully a good response from the supplier. The item was not cheap and I not happy it has broken so soon.In addition: The bootlever is slightly skinny (If larger I would love this product more) which makes it much harder to open bottles than other professional openers I have used. The coloured part is also quite large so is easy to push down.

it broke
I have one of these myself and I like it, works well, no problems. I bought one as a gift for my brother and he says it broke straight away, I told him to send it back but he didn't want the hassle- he said he'd glued it back together. I'm a little miffed it broke as it wasn't cheap.

I love this so much that it is the only waiters friend I now carry around. Gorgeous and full of personality and actually works very well. My only slight complaint is that the paintwork is not as bright as pictured :( so a truer representation would be good & any idea if ever got another would be any brighter or not.. otherwise 🦜 pecky parrot is great ^_^
