expensive...but it is the exact replacement

Perfect fit for my garage window
I had a window in my garage that would never quite close properly. During my install of this sash lock, I found some debris from wasp type creatures, mud daubers, had built up some dirt tubes. Removed those and window was able to full close, and with the sash lock install, window no longer "drifts" open. Should have done this years ago, but it's a detached garage, and out of sight, out of mind, as they say.

The so called Andersen window lock was not the same ...
The so called Andersen window lock was not the same as the original. The screw holes were in the wrong place and would have caused the new screw hole in the window sill to be too close to the original so I could not use thew slide. Not worth paying shipping to return it.
