Just like a normal umbrella but has sun protection blackout on inside the edge has black lace to make it more like a parasol could possibly be used in the rain will try when it does rain next time

My wife is impressed by the size & how much shade it provides. No sun rays get through.She would prefer a slightly larger handpiece as the present size is not easy to hold with arthritic hands.

I bought this umbrella with the assumption I would be able to fly like my friend Mary, I opened the umbrella exactly as it said in the instructions and jumped off my garage roof expecting to soar high above the houses below but instead I fell to the ground and broke both my legs, I tried contacting the BBC watchdog program but they seemed reluctant to help. The umbrella is good quality and ideal for keeping the sun off your head but hopeless if you want to use it for flying .
